Probably not in time for 1.01 if it's being released today. Maybe next patch.

Basically no.
Use CastingUnit, it will do what you want.
Sounds like a straight up quest?
Did you turn off zoom limiting in advanced options? That's the only thing I can think of.
Yeah that works too, just remove the tech prereq.
You can of course make your own trait to have the same function, the above was only an easy way to attach it to all sovereigns of a particular race. I don't know how to turn off scorched earth.

The 1000 turn limit is only for high score calculation, your game continues afterwards if you want to.
Imho the map should be very easy to make using the map editor in-game. Who will claim the fame?
Here is an example of how to add a resource to all Elven sovereigns (this is all you need in a separate mod): Player StartPositionHasResource</At
I find the average review fairly accurate if slightly below my prediction. Honestly it seems like the majority of the higher scores are from apologists/fanboys bumping up the score because 'its better than WoM', which has me thinking I maybe bumped up my prediction because FE is better than WoM as well. FE should be judged against its peers, not biased against previous iterations.
Something similar could be said in reverse
Btw, one consequence of the above bug is that these lairs will of course not exist anymore. So all those units that SHOULD have existed won't spawn any more. The most pressing issue with this bug is that it turns several Wildlands into total walks in the parks. The Scrapyard, for example, is supposed to contain 4 WildingRider lairs. All those disappear on turn 1. The Shroud has 3 Lair_DarklingShaman. Asag has 4 Lair_TrollShaman. The scrapyard on turn 2
Just to prove that this occurs on randomly generated maps a swell, here's a bone ogre on turn 2 that has his hut turned into a world resource. http://i.imgur.com/5SFpH.jpg
I have noticed this behaviour in-game. It applies to goodiehuts that function as monsterlairs that function as spawners for recruitment world resources, ex Ogres. First I will explain the expected behaviour. It should work like the Dragon lairs. The "Lair_FellDragon" monsterlair has only one . The player has to remove the dragon in order to gain access to the world resource underneath. However, and this is the bug<
Which one?
You could just attach bonuses to your Tower of Dominion, so your first city gets bonuses. That'd be by far the easiest. The other way would be to have extra resources spawn near your sovereign. Resources also provide bonuses to tile yields, in addition to to the stuff you get from building improvements on them.

Tile yields are automatically generated. All you need to do is provide suitable locations for it. Use terrains plains forest river. Set environment to kingdom or empire using environment tool.
If you mean the shop, set the item's shopvalue to -1
You do understand you have to open up the stamps, yes? There are clearly stamps without mountains that have that are relevant to your question.
Where are you finding info for swamp or desert stamps? Or broken for that mattter..I dont see arctic either though apparently its a stamp type. The way I read it is random maps have the best chance of having flatter land because they have the most variety in stamp types..again assuming those other ones exist somewhere
CoreMaps.xml holds the information about what the map types mean.
<MapStyle
Sigh. If you want to find the information you are looking for, you'll need to evaluate the stamps and what they fall into. You'll notice that stamps for Swampy or Desert map types have far less tiles with MountainRange and MountainSide. If you want exact percentages, you are right, they aren't handed to you on a platter and you may think of that what you will. Now you know where the information is, and where it isn't. G
I must be looking in the wrong place data/English/Corestamps only has generic and chasms files..though they dont seem to contain any of the information I am looking for.
Just go with Swampy or Desert, there's really no numbers to look up, you'll need to put the info together yourself if you want to find out.
That info in CoreStamps.xml CoreMaps.xml corresponds with info in the stamps like Generic Mountains Desert Chasms Rugged Forests
