And white can be convincingly evil - the White Witch in The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe is a prominent example of evil dressed in white. Let's not forget Saruman the White Which was big deal when Gandalf became the White after his little Balrog encounter.. New update. It's a little delayed, so I apologize, but like I said in the other post, I'm out of town on vacation.
how often to you plan to update this good job though next we need to have you updating with boogiebac's IRC comments
Well ideally I woud want to update it less than an hour after BoogieBac posts, but that is unrealistic. Once I'm back from vacation (Sunday) I pla
Here it is, week two of the twitter updates. Newest at the top.
TeamElemental Week 3: More timelapse fun...this time with a Spiderw
Just put a new update up. Travel sucks. [e digicons][/e] Especially United. Connecting flight got canceled, so we're stuck half way there. Took hours to get a new flight, then more hours to get our baggage, then even more to get a hotel. And our new flight isn't until almost 24 hours after our original one was supposed to be.
Just so everyone know, I'm going out of town later today and will be gone all of next week. I will still be posting twitter updates (look for a new thread next week) but there will probably be some delay (it will be a vacation, after all). So anyway, if it take a while for me to post an update, I apologize, but they will be up eventually.
I just noticed this, and its probably something you might want to consider updating. The home page still says that the public beta will begin in June. Just wanted to point it out.
It is very fast. A lot faster than Steam (for me anyway) and it's much faster than downloading something off Filefront, etc.
Just put a new one up
It depends a lot on what game/games you want to mod, and how you want to mod them. Modeling a new unit and getting it in game takes a lot more work and effort than rebalancing a couple existing units, etc. You can find guides online for all the different modelling programs, although as far as I know most games don't have any such thing to teach you how to mod. Most of it is just trial+error.
ooh, thank you! 64-bit support! wahoo![e digicons][/e] Although dang, the beta won't be ready until September
@DHStom (re: First beta Build) Working hard to get a 'limited-alpha' out next week, but that depends on how much we get done by tomorrow.
Hey! [e digicons]X([/e] That's my job! I just added that one to the OP.
And weekly update threads sound good...I'll probably post around 5 updates a day, so by friday there'd be 25 posts worth of text in the OP.
Ok then, that's what I'll do
Just added another one.
Quoting Wintersong, reply 21 Depending of frequency of updates (Twitter's nature and all), you could clean the OP from time to time in a weekly basis, for example. Maybe keeping the most interesting ones but making room for new content. Since you're doing all this work already, shame to waste the 'unintended archive' aspect of it. How about setting a cap for the number
I know it supposes extra work but you should edit the OP with the new info. Use unordered list btw.
Done. Newest ones are at the top, older ones at the bottom. I was originally thinking about doing that, but I thought that eventually the OP would get ridiculously long. Maybe I'll just delete some of the older ones when that happens.
It still looks wierd, and it still doesn't make sense to me, but now I at least know (or think I know).
It makes perfect sense if you know that that bird is the Twitter mascot.
Do you have the Sword of the Star Ultimate Collection or SotS: A Murder of Crows? Impulse says you need one of those in order to play it, but it doesn't sound like you have either.
Guess what? Another!:
TeamElemental Mental Note: With Jesse back I can request code to dynamically destroy city buildings-the more flying bits and fiery wreckage the better!
EDIT: Wahoo! I'm getting karma for this! Thanks guys![e digicons][/e] </spa
Another:
TeamElemental Playing Elemental with arrow keys feels like an old-school RPG (think original FF, DQ, or Ultima).

Is the book going to have a public beta too? You know, where we get to read it and correct typos or something?
Isn't that what Spellcheck and the publisher are for?
Just subscribe to the RSS feed. You can read the preview without going back to the original site.
No! Don't do that! [e digicons]XO[/e] Then all my hard work would be for nothing[e digicons]:'([/e]
Another one:
TeamElemental Wow...just now got the units receiving the key messages. Now to get them moving as the player commands.

Thanks for the effort, kyogre. Any chance of getting the full links out that twitty-thing?
hm... I don't know why that link didn't work... I'll fix that
