@StevenAus Aren't your concerns about the blood god armor and damage to the wearer obsoloete once you get this: "Blood God Helmet- Negates all damage to the wearer from Blood God armor." So once you get that you can equip whatever piece of blood god armor you may find
Just recruited Bacco and see the "I wish to serve" icon thanks!
How about taking away the wings and calling them dinosaurs?
A dragon without wings is a Worm (or Wyrm if you'd like). The wings on the elemental dragons are ornamental. Like the T-Rexes too short arms.
Wow, never imagined that this would be the thread for my first post... (warning: I did link to TV Tropes, which may be a bit of a faux pas, but the only danger there is to your productivity) I don't particularly mind the idea of "bunny slippers" - among other things they're a shout out to "No One Lives Forever", one of the greatest FPS of all time - but yeah, I could do without them. The games tha
I agree I salt the earth to take away some of the too many places to settle.
I'd like another 8 factions DLC myself
So I just confirmed that you can prevent the AI from attacking your cities indefinitely this way. Just load the autosave and they will not have attacked you for that turn. Yay cheating
What are these modifiers you speak of that alter the amount a particular battle is worth XP wise? Seems bogus to me. A dragon should be worth 100 xp whether you are facing him with 100 or 1 guys. If it's 100 guys then split the 100xp amongst them. If it's one guy then that guy gets 100. If you want to split xp between heroes and regular grunts then hero should get 50 xp and the other 50% should be split amongst regular troops.
I think of it has something to adapt to. Like I said in another thread my life pursuit will be to kill any Hero wearing it. It's out of principal. If I have an alliance with that avatar I will break it just to make a point.
You are going to make a point to an AI? I don't think they'll notice mate.
what does manashield do? I've never actually tried it. It just seems weird.
Ok then I'M SORRY TOO
I've not seen this effect (empty item)
Thanks for the review Victor5 I'll definitely give it a shot.. sounds great
santa says you are nice so no coal for you
you cain't (unfortunately) Several standard hotkeys seem to be missing as well... It'd be nice to press R for roads for example
I've never used the bloom of twlight/summer spells. I find I have too many cities by the point in the game that it becomes available and don't need to find land to start yet another one from scratch
This thread reminds me of this
Are Summons worth it? Are 5 swords better than 4 swords? Do ducks duck and bees be? If you battle a guy and it looks like he has 3 troops but is able to bring in a 4th that's a bait and switch on you and you have to adjust when you realize you are overmatched. A summon can significantly alter the course of a battle and make a close contest into no contest. Even if you forced summons to occur in the first turn instead of working the calculations to

Civ 4 is better. Elite? Ultima? Dune II? Wolfenstein 3D? You can name a lot of better successors. Even for Star Control II, Space Rangers are arguably better. Ahh, now you are stretching it. There has never been proper replacement for the Ultima games in RPG, and neither has there be
Dude I had this same problem! I built an outpost to add a twlight bees to my empire. i think a turn or two later game crashed. Loaded autosave and no outpost any more.
They don't actually pull you into their square. Instead, if your army had a destination set, they automatically move towards it after being attacked. I consider this to be a bug. If you don't leave any armies with destinations at the end of your turn, you won't see this happen.
I almost always end up with destinations at the end of my turn. It's too much micromanagement to
Don't be silly. If they were to waste time on bugs, then we would have to do without bunny slippers and lollipops. Please get your priority's right.
Stardock turn around let me grab that knife out of your back lol..
When I get home I'll take some screenshots to settle this once and for all of a battle with two troops and one or two heroes if someone doesn't beat me to it first.
