Again
Quoting smeagolheart, reply 12The problem here is the factions are not so different. Actually all races should try to win and try to prevent another player from wining, no matter how different or similar they are. I hope some of my notes may be considered in the 1.4/1.5 wishlist.
yeah this. They are all sovereigns thrust upon the world - of a humanoid shaped race - determined to win
I suggest to correct higher level heroes. Just look - 1 level heroes have 2 traits. Then look - 3 level heroes mostly have 2-3 traits. Why so? They should have 4! Al others - 5 - 9 level heroes all (or almost all) have less traits than they should. Please add them some traits! I also suggest to give better equipment to heroes. All 1 level heroes should at least have something with them. 3 level he

So I've saved this game attached here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/j3cedkrm26x6zgh/vetrar.zip Vetrar has wandered out of his area and is threatening my city with pummelment. If you end turn he's likely to attack. If I was somehow able to defeat him, his wilderness area would not change to usable territory.
I'd like to be notified by a tooltip or something when the AI takes an outpost from me. When I pay attention to other parts of the map then go back to where I had outposts and see the AI has taken a few and I didn't have any kind of notification it upsets me a bit.
@Derek Paxton Ok I made a new save here. I took Rhyss and Rylaks (the two R cities) from Magnar a couple turns ago. C cycles to one of the Rs but not both. Link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/nerpfc1jis2s9vj/no%20c%20man.zip
According to this post here: https://forums.stardock.com/419942/page/2/ Resoln(Wraiths) is supposed to be neutral, but yeah I agree with you generally, while strides have been made in differentiating the factions their personalities are still somewhat similar in my opinion, Im certainly not getting the neutral, good, or evil vibes from anyone.
I would never have guessed the alignments match those f
I find enchantment magic tech is much easier to get than the equivalent warfare tech whatever that may be. Usually if I get enchantment troops running around I win. These are the mages and I like the fire axe guys although the lightning hammer guys are good as well.
I'll see what I can do, unfortunately it might be next week, as my main computer is in the shop and I'm using a loaner that I don't have the saved games on. I distinctly recall playing on huge, I'd build say 5 cities and captured say 4 or five then when I pressed c it only toggled trough about 3 cities. Well let me get a savegame here. Anyone else can provide an example?
Like in Warlords, like in Europa Universalis, when human player becomes strong all AI sides unite and attack human player!
Just because there aren't other harridans in the game doesn't mean they don't exist. Perhaps there are harridans that are very calm and sharing. The ones in the game are named Ravenous because of their common behavior. Besides, it's an acceptable naming practice in real life. Look at the Killer Whale. All whales kill (how else would they eat?), so why name the orca "killer" whale?[/quot
Custom Wraith Faction. Then I've been taking Scrying Pool like everyonone else. Lucky is a must. After that it can vary. I like the Athican Leather Armor and ability to get quest maps so I like Wanderlust. I usually take unarmored as a racial drawback as well so having the beefed leather is a good thing. I've never noticed that I use armor anyway. My Sovereign is brilliant and discipline. These two are no
I'd heartily recommend a high dodge assassin. They are practically unhittable around level 10 or so.
Hmm, there is a particular assassin build though that can solo the entire map.. Granted, it needs a custom faction to work, but it can solo everything and anything 100% For faction, you need wraiths, with lucky, scout(optional, but REALLY helps with leveling up faster), and any dis
I kind of like it, just when you think about it, it doesn't fit since none of the other beasties have adjectives before their name. Again there are no "Smelly Ogres" or "Concerned Farmers" or anything. One of these things is not like the others and all.
There is the rats and doom club quest that is sort of like that. You can choose the doom club or 100 gildar. More quests that you an option a or b to pick from are not a bad idea
community contests! sounds fun and a good way to spread word of mouth and what not.
The interesting thing about this: I play on moderate (everything) as Cesera and since 1.3 have noted that AI mobs ignore AI cities and go out of their way to attack mine. This was not happening pre 1.3. It's gotten to the point where I have founded cities, had the local Mob trash them and return to base. An AI player then runs in and steals the location - and the Mob ignores them, but if I move my
I agree that I want more future DLCs. And come on guys, $5 is not much as it goes to a good game company. Regarding #1, if you move over a resource the enemy has made then you should hear the "Crash" sound and the build here icon should appear over the resource (assuming you have that enabled in options to see the hammer icons). At least on the difficulty I play on the AI immediately goes back to build on this tile though - even while having something else in the build queue. I've ignored a unit sitting on an AI resource for a couple turns and noticed
It just seems kind of random. I had the AI just up and declare war on a whim. Then you can be sure that some other factions will join in on the fun too! One thing in Civ was if you noticed a large group of units headed your way you could guess that they were going to declare war when they go to your borders. Here the AI just seems to declare war then some 100 turns later a force shows up? It's also eas
