Can't you just buy the tomes from Pariden instead of killing one of your units for a spellbook? I don't see the point

I made a high dodge warrior (custom wraith) after beating Delin, the Pyre of Man, and gaining fire immunity he easily solos dragons. Armed with a 20ish sword and the maul item he takes down dragons in two turns.
Here's my Windows 8 useful link: http://www.classicshell.net/ This freeware app will boot you past the Metro UI into classic desktop. Windows 8 becomes more like Windows 7. Once you set up programs (such as PDF) to open up with regular programs and not the Metro Apps you almost never have to see the Metro interface again.
No effect? None? Just a waste of mana? Is this a bug or a RP trick on player because the quest giver was so shifty?
Isn't that how LH mods work? If there's a file in the mods folder it's used instead of the default one?
I did some quest last night where I earned a dragon killing spell. I wonder if this is a dragon-be-gone one hit wonder spell now
I think costs in shops should advertise one price but then when you buy it the cost is 9.5% more due to tax.
These have been requested elsewhere but here they are again in this thread: - Notification for Neutral Armies in your territory so you can click through them. - Notification when an Enemy AI takes an outpost from you. New things: - The "Oh no you lost a resource 'Go to'" option that pops up between turns when an enemy crashes your resource sometimes doesn't take you to where the event happened as
will play a real game with it... immediately. Suggestions?
I recommend Mountain Dew.
It's probably not so easy to code AI for a game this complex what with research, techs, units, spells, buildings etc etc etc
update: I did give it a shot and it looks great love it, thanks
ouch suspicions confirmed...
Depends on the formula. Say: BaseXP * (Pos.Mod. - Neg.Mod.) = Total XP 100 XP * (115% - 100%) = 15 XP But, I haven't used it for some time. Gonna have to retry. EDIT: Did a few fights with the sword and did receive some xp & even leveled. Max received was 44 XP for a fight against Lord of the Flames & friends.
<
I've seen something similarly wacky with city defenders being able to wander outside of a city. I was attacked and somehow after the battle there seemed to be duplicate defenders on top of each other such that I could take my City Militia and walk around with them as a stack outside the city walls. Not sure how this happened but I've seen it happen two separate occasions.
Quoting smeagolheart, reply 2 I could see it being useful situationally. For one big fight or something but not a day to day thing. Why's it gotta be -100% experience? Why not -75% or something where you *might* consider using it? You still get XP if you have bonuses (e.g. potential), but yeah I agree, not a very nice feature.
No? nearest I think I've seen is if you have an army with no heroes win a battle with items as part of the spoils, these items go to the nearest hero or maybe sovereign?
This dude along with the Decrysonse darkling city wildland defnitely seem to be brokey.
You guys hear about the "Better Call Saul" spinoff in the works? http://www.deadline.com/2013/09/breaking-bad-saul-goodman-spinoff-amc-series/ Sooo I guess Saul survives..
I'd like to be able to move around the different components of the UI.
Just Like in this Wasteland 2 video? (skip to around 3:20)
Sounds like you want a Scenario instead, like the old HoMM games where the end win goal was to kill a mighty dragon etc. with quests on the way. If you could somehow outsource some talented map makers for cheap to make great maps, that would make for a great DLC I think. The In-House talent seems to busy doing other stuff
It could work for a scenerio but then that's only one map. So that's why I said game mode s
I think a wildlands DLC would be fantastic, in fact they could add so much more to them. A. Quests associated with specific wildlands. B. Extra wildlands would mean extra monsters and items. C. More monsters should pour from Wildlands than in the current model and Wildlands should expand, so eventually players and the AI have to deal with those monsters and new lairs
Enter key works for done when at the combat results screen and any other screen where you have Done as the only option
Yes, as has been said, not all DLCs have to be $5. This one could have been less (but 50 new non-gag items is really needed to make it worth $5).
non gag non cursed. I haven't found a good use for the cursed bell. Why would I want everyone to lose all their turns? Maybe if I had poisoned somebody and about to die myself? Maybe if I wanted one more turn to reset a timer. Those are ve
Mounts - I bought a horse for my sovereign with about 5 turns left in the game. Do they increase the movement of the entire army?
No. mounts only improve the sovereign's move points. So in tactical, your hero will move 4 (or whatever) instead of 2 but in strategic the stack is limited by the slowest lumberer in the group. If you grab a horse with y
