this looks very interesting, have you been working on it any more? It looks like you were searching for art before
In MoM and Civ if human raiders took over a town, they would start making units and stuff there as a barbarian civilization. I'd like for something like that to occur personally.
Quoting Illauna, reply 4 The suggestions you have here were in Elemental : Fallen Enchantress. Weapons strength and weaknesses were effective against against certain armors. It was found out later it made the game clunky and was removed with Legendary heroes. I believe this information is still found in the XMLs and might be able to turn it backon. Should they change it...I think its fine how it is. Can you d
AI seems to waste all its mana on useless spells mostly. On my caravans, more specifically. They love crippling my caravans, and keep casting strategic spells on it, and it has a good time braging about how evil it is to me and all. Makes me sad, really... Poor caravans Why not directly attack them instead, or just stop wasting mana on it?
Haven't you seen the elemental winning flowchart? Eleme
doesn't stardock have sins and galciv already? They can do 2 at once if needed
He's the "Wander Arounder of Worlds" https://forums.elementalgame.com/448233/page/1/
If I'm facing the dark wizard, I attack with only the units that can survive one or two or three despairs if needed. Leave the weaker units to rejoin the battle afterwards.
yeah based on the title, I thought this thread was going to show a picture of a copy of windows 8 being flushed down the toilet
Yes, the game can always be more precious.
Look we already have bunny slippers. What's next a bathrobe? Enchanted Earrings of Enchantment?
Quoting GFireflyE, reply 5On a side note, why isn't there independant city states within the game already??? This would be a great addition. Something for the next expansion maybe....?
Well there is the bugged wildland Decyronyessesvzswf. But "barbarian cities" should be there. We have the campgrounds, it's like the next evolution to those<
You should release a mod - "improved factions". I'd load it.
I HATE THAT I CAN SEE WHAT ENEMY CITIES ARE BUILDING. That's definitely a unique UI issue. TAKE IT AWAY! Or at least give me the option to hide it!
In a game I was attacking a faction that was building erog's tower. I waited for them to complete it before taking the city. Interestingly, they rushed it, it had like 9 turns left then the next turn it was done. Then I took the cit
My play experience has been that it does nothing. I've added it to scouts thinking I was clever and they still got attacked just as often as scouts without this - but they cost 8 more labor woohoo! There is also the faction trait that seems more specific. Stealthy weasels that monsters are more likely to ignore your unit, while the faction traits says monsters will ignore your armies. I wonder if that one works?
Quoting Fezziwig, reply 9Why would I even spend the time going down the entire summoning line so I can potentially summon one Death Elemental--perhaps the most useful of the late game summons--when the "direct damage" mage tree provides for lots of bonus damage, bonus spellmastery, mana reductions, etc.? I hope we all agree something needs to be changed here? Well, not really, no. The summoning line is arguably less powerful
I really can't imagine how to make LH more stettlable. It already resembles bucolic 18th century Poland aesthetically, and you also have the option to dress your units in dark fur hats and long, poorly-fitting black robes, and you can rename most of your cities to resemble ficticious stettles such as Pinsk. Perhaps there could be the option to mod in clarinets (gives all allies a +4 chance to light sabbath candles).
Umm
thanks for making this thread. if these things get addressed, we'd have a much better game. I'm smeagolheart and I endorse this thread.
Can you take a screenshot?
do all the files go in the my documents/legendary heroes folder or you have to overwrite some core files? edit: nvm checked install instructions in 1st post
after installing the mod, you have to start a new game, did you? Also if it's working you should see the "I wish to serve" icon on the character picture where all the little icons are.
Rule #1 Do not expect too much from AI.
It's not even really AI, just game rules. Somewhere in the code there is a section for what happens when War is Declared. What's missing in there is an If statement. If you get declared war upon, then all your allies go to war as well. Then it's up to the War AI to prioritize making military units, make battle plans, etc etc etc, on
Really, summoning an elemental for fodder by placing it next to a dangerous unit it really just a method to trick a sub-optimal AI into ignoring the real threat. Any AI worth its salt would ignore the elementals (except, perhaps the Death Elemental due to Death Ward) and simply attack the biggest threat on the board, and a single Elemental is not going to be doing much more than nicking these late game stacks of units. I'm pretty sure city milita are upgraded with whatever your latest gear from tech is, no?
Indeed, but I don't know what you can use haha so I haven't replied
you could do the same with a warrior or assassin, but they just lack the durability without overpowered equipment. a defender really just needs a decent shield (like the kite shield from one of the more common easy early quests) to be fully viable - with both defense traits and another +15 from a decent shield, a level 5 defender has something like 50 defense in def stance, so they can basically shrug off just about anything.
