there is a difference between holding true to blue blood marraige and incest.... perhaps a fine line, but still a line.

Master of Magic cults? I'd want to play one.
a special place in hell. right next to rapists and people who talk in theatres during a movie.
You act like you can't ever play it again?

This thread needs more links to pirate software?

It's not pirated it's abandonware and 100% legal.
that might be true. However, Stardock has already made it clear that they cannot allow for it here. Here is a quote from another thread where this came up. quoting Zoomba...
Those teeth are nice and buttery, but perhaps he should lack some.
I don't think so. Missing teeth suggests weakness or poor health. This guy doesn't look like he loses fights. Besides, perhaps he can regrow them like a shark :D
Should we make a second thread? or just modify this one? vie... vieu....n...chat... something.. hard to remember spelling screennames... he has a reply on page 3 of this thread. anyway, he has a bannor already. Perhaps he should start a thread on it. But I want to create some that better match the style and theme of the game. I actually started a bannor a while ago. At the moment I have my 3D art, and some work I'm doin
I don't recall draconians in Moria (we're talking old ASCII dungeon crawler right?) Then again, if they did appear it might be hard to tell. I know that "d" and "D" were both dragons. so I'm not sure what they'd be.
I'm certain that everything in MoM that isn't in Elemental will be thanks to the mod community fairly quickly.
Anybody know when the beta will be released?
word on the street's the 1st weekend of september. But don't hold your breath (especially because its like 2 weeks away. You'd sufficate. Not even Guybrush Threepwood can hold his breath that long) We'll likely know if they're making their dead line by next week. We'll see
YES! I'm down with this. I'll even add the sequence. *starts semi rapping the music* *crazy lightshow begins* *"di, di, di... digimon, digital monsters, digimon are the champions"* * Digivolve into champion. Digivolve into ultimate* Avatar thread digivolve to.... *suddenly deeper with strange voice filter* STICKIED AVATAR THREAD (I proudly stand that I am a super nerd
I dont know why those old shots with the 'Heros' tally are being recycled with this latest media push...those are ancient and cringe worthy for SO many reasons
Heros tally? I've seen many pictures being recycled, but I'm unsure to what specifically is bieng refered here?
You obviously know nothing about BETA then. lmao. Betas have always been free to play. I've played them since the mid 80's and never paid to play one yet.
Usually betas have some sort of way of limiting the number of people playing. Either by drawing, being invite only, or something similar. Its becoming increasingly popular to have it tied to some sort of purchase to be included in the beta. Dawn of War 2, for example, gave beta inv
oh man, I'm very pleased to see it pinned. I was pretty happy when it was added to the 'news' but this is great. I'm thinking we'll have to make other things such as banners and such now. @spartan: In theory Travitar's current avatar may need to be added to the list. I'm not sure that thrawn's animated png should be posted. Its awssome (provided you're using a browser that supports it) but kryo made it clear that its not allowed. Wo
I'm curious to see how much religion plays. I would have otherwise said "no, no religion. we'll save that for a different game" but considering the importance of family, perhaps it will have a place after all.
Huh, he said he didn't get to see any of the modding stuff, but there I see a screenshot of what appears to be the in-game building editor.
man, not many people comment on news. I guess there isn't much to generate coversation though. just like... "I'm a fan" and that doesn't even really need to be said for most people.
I get the feeling there may be a lot of vertical lasers in this game
provided you're talking about laser's per screen, rather than laser's per map (since a large map would have MANY MANY nodes... err, crystals on them) then I suspect there will be less than there were in Black and White. That game could get so many town center shrines in one screen. I kinda like the verticle laser look. At least for epicenter's of magical power
I did like the titles and such that would be given to your heroes in some of the recent total War games. I always seemed to get gay sovereigns though. Like, they wouldn't just have 1 or 2 sons... they would litterally gain a trait suggesting they were not fond of women and only touched them to get an heir. I think coming up with some sort of title system to both give personality and effect gameplay is something we should consider once the beta
Man, there have been so many "what we wish we had in the water" threads. I know I've talked about floating islands and cities (like floating in the sea, not in the sky... though I'd happily take either) and underwater or at least water based dungeons. Sea monsters, and pirates...... We'll just have to see what happens. I'd imagine we will see water channelers able to shape the coast, causing water magic to be a big deal if you're planning to be the supreme
Sorry to anybody actually checking on it, the blogging took took longer than I expected, and then was further delayed by family business. However, it is up now. If somebody wants to look.
I was just about to ask "hey, where's the update on Elemental news?"
I fear somebody's going to have to give a solid explination of what spcifically about Space Empire's diplomacy system is good. (since I haven't played it, and I have not heard enough that excites me that I'd go spend my currently limited spare cash on it)
Three and a half years for software piracy? That seems a bit excessive.......
I was just thinking that wasn't that much. Considering just how many people have a copy of "tomato garden" XP. It is such a 'safe' way to pirate windows XP that I do believe it has seriously hurt XP sales. I know a number of people who would wipe their store purchased PCs and laptops to replace them with tomato garden XP installs using the legal key
couldn't help it. I didn't do the amount of care the yeti recieved, but still I love new pieces of art.
I like how the hedges have vanished in place of generic wooden fences. I think one of the most enjoyable things to do is observe the change over time. I mean, there is still a year of development on this, and I can't imagine that progress is going to do anything but speed up (in art anyway). This is going to be a damn sexy game I believe.
