Military Training Exercises? Basically just a tactical battle unrelated to anything else? [e digicons]:fox:[/e]

Oi. Off-topic boards are seen on a whole variety of sites, including a bunch that have nothing to do with gaming. Best to post to Sins boards. Also, try it against that and a decent fleet. [e digicons]:fox:[/e]
Looks more the right size/depth and makes more sense for an archery range, but the angle of the little platform thingey seems odd. [e digicons]:fox:[/e]
Beats me why it appears to be pained, but I'd expect it's supposed to be strong enough to stop the arrows. [e digicons]:fox:[/e]
Alliance of Convenience sounds fine to me. However, to me the Unholy Alliance suggests an extremly far-fetched one between two that are polar opposites. To continue with the WWII reference, Unholy Alliance would be to me Hitler and Churchill teaming up. In GalCiv2 terms, it'd be the morally righteous do-gooder Altarians allying with the xenophobic nd genocidal Korath. [e digicons]:fox:[/e]
I'll go against the tide and say that I didn't really care for Civ4. I think it was something about how random tornadoes kept wiping out my farms and cottages. Nearly a dozen times in a single age. [e digicons]:fox:[/e]
Elemental: Even the Cacti are given consideration. [e digicons]:fox:[/e]
Gee. About sums up all the problms I've ever had flying combined. And then some. Here I was getting annoyed by the hotel's wireless 'upgrade' to 802.11b with the only access point in the main office in another building. [e digicons]:fox:[/e]
I've no problem with achievements. Gives something to do. I also have no problem with gameplay changing ones as long as they stay single player or some form of co-op. Mass Effect did them well, imo.
chasing down achievements to max stuff out is NOT fun...
Then don't. [e digicons]:fox:[/e]
Tasty. Hadn't seen pics 1 and 3 before. As for pic 4, I believe Frogboy said it made it look like HoMM style combat, which it wasn't. [e digicons]:fox:[/e]

He wants to mod this game into... something. [e digicons]:fox:[/e]
Oi, you should keep this post on the Sins boards. The Off-topic board is shared across several sites, most of which have nothing to do with Sins. [e digicons]:fox:[/e]
Wow could someone help me with my download speeds for Impulse? I only get like 30kb/s x.D
Dial-up is dead. [e digicons];P[/e] [e digicons]:fox:[/e]
Man, I loved Renegade, but when I got it, they had already taken down multiplayer support, which from what I can tell is the best part of the game.
Last time I booted it up, Gamespy still had Renegade servers going strong. I want to see another FPS with multiplayer like that. [e digicons]:fox:[/e]
Screw the molds and just go with whatever works, they're moldy anyway.
This. What I was trying to say, better said. [e digicons]:fox:[/e]
1) Valve will not deliver additional content for the original
There's no indication they will do so. They haven't done so yet, and they're already releasing a sequel. Also, the player base will quickly drop as soon as the sequel hits. At best, I'd hope they'd backport a feature or two from the sequel.
2) modders will not mod for the original
I'd have to agree with Vinraith here. If the sequel is supposed to have all the same stuff and more, why not mod for
1st and 2nd, and 3rd and 4th images look the same to me. Also, I thought that said 'Oprah' at first. [e digicons]:fox:[/e]
To break cliches just because they are cliches is very bad. To break them to offer some really interesting and with sense, is another thing. If Stardock could do the second, then ok. If not, let Unicorns alone. (doesn't D&D already have en evil unicorn?)
Ay. That's why I want the boring ones broken. I'm personally tired of seeing former enemies team up to take down a new threat. Or the 'all for one, one for all' team. </p
it's been so drilled into us that unicorns are good shiny happy creatures that there would be an uproar if Stardock made them neutral (god forbid evil!)
This is exactly the kind of thing I'd like to see. Break some boring cliches. [e digicons]:fox:[/e]
Funny how this thread gets resurrected once a month. [e digicons]:fox:[/e]
I'd have to go with a start from the beginning as well. Renegade has a very good multi-player mode as well, not just another deathmatch.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Uq92eCdNQM
Wow, they've got the game running at a snail's pace there. Still, makes me want to fire it up again. Plus I always like the unit designs.
I wonder how that compares to my 10,000 rpm veliociraptor.
SSDs blow it away. [e digicons]:fox:[/e]
My first impression of Twitter: Someone describing their vomit. Went downhill after that, so I never cared for it afterwards. [e digicons]:fox:[/e]
