I've been trying to make a nice icon for TreeDBNotes Pro, but haven't really been successful. Here is the icon that comes with it: I've also not been able to find an icon for KeepSafe, which is strange given Stardock's relationship to this site. Thanks so much for your effort, guys. J.

If you are talking about DesktopX widgets, simply right click on one of the widgets, choose 'general settings', and change the shortcut keys to whatever you want (or simply delete them). I don't believe OD+ has any such shortcuts.

Kilo, thanks for trying. I've been trying for a long time too--I figured maybe someone else found a solution, and that maybe others want to get rid of that little image too. Cavan, now I'm even closer--at least with Aura, there is now only a *very* small image left. Now it is almost unnoticable, but it's still there.

It basically happens with any skin with the large start button. I'm currently using the Aura skin that comes with WB 5, tried following your suggestions, and still get the same thing. Unlocking the task bar did seem to make the little remnant smaller, but it still there. It is strange that you can't reproduce the problem--particularly since we both have ATI cards. Most of the time, I use OD+ and have the taskbar hidden. Many of the newer themes have oversized start buttons that remain somewhat visible even when the taskbar is hidden. Is there any way to fix this without modifying the button in SkinStudio (since I still want the taskbar to work on those occasions that I prefer to have it visible). I know that I can set an alternate taskbar, but I'd rather not have to if there is a fix.

Go to dock settings, positioning, and then uncheck automatic distance from edge. Set the location slider to where you want it, and the problem is solved. What's happening is that it is trying to keep it above the taskbar automatically, so the popups are making it jump. At least this worked for me. Good luck.

Sometimes this happens to me when I change resolution (or more commonly switch from dual to single monitor). When I restart, it's back to normal. Hopefully, that simple fix will do the trick for you as well.

I've created a system tray tab and have no problem when I minimize items to the tray. I do this all the time with both Outlook and iTunes and have never had a problem. You can also set the shortcuts so that they simply bring up your apps if they are already running, so that you never have to go looking for them (but you can keep them out of the way--particularly from task-switching in my case). I use Keyboard Launchpad for this, and it works wonderfull

Sizer can set location as well as size. It's kind of a pain, but I use it to basically set up blocks of space and send the relevant app to each space. aimzz-sizer doesn't automatically assign size and location to windows of certain types (the way that ZMover does), but I actually think that this is more useful because I don't really use most apps the same way every time, so I can assign a size and location depending on how I'm using it (and

Just open iconpackager, go to icons and cursors, then files, then scroll down and fine the problem icons and you can change them to the appropriate icon. I consistently have the problem with .pdf's, but it's easy enough to make the change.

I just wish/hope that the tabbed interface can be relocated to the side (I read somewhere that it won't). I have a widescreen notebook and hold my vertical space sacred. Despite its potential benefits, I'd have to turn off the tabbed interface if it means squishing my work area as much as it appears on the screenshots.
