http://www.pcgamer.com/2012/02/29/first-simcity-5-screens-and-details-surface/ So, I realized that I had to wait for 10 years to finally getting proper sequel for Simcity series. Imagine how much I have to wait for Baldur's Gate 3.....

After the dog-wolf quest and horse quest (and some other small quests like rat-killing quest) I just cannot find quests on maps anymore. Even with having kingdom that covering about 1/3 of the "large" map, there are only 2 quests available within my area. 1.) Quest giving places should respawn. Otherwise the world becomes really boring place after monsters being wiped out and kingdoms established. I would love to see respawning system for monste
As Rock, Paper and Shotgun comments said, "What a shame." Go to any PC-centric forums and you will realize it's VERY hard to find a positive feedback on this merger, for many good reasons.
This is the most depressing news that actually made me cry.
..... After so much thoughts a while ago, I strongly believe that only way to make this GPG thing worthwhile is make it percentage based. Should be like this. At level 1 It does 200 + 10% of total hp of the target. At level 2 500 + 20% of total hp of the target. At level 3 800 + 30% of total hp of the target. Of course, the damage is migrated and reduced by armour. <
I've been lurking in both 2K and CFC, and this Dale guy indeed has mental problems. And to be honest, 'mental problems' would be rather understatement regarding some of remarks he has made. P.S : And it is rather good thing he got banned from this forum. At least he got what he deserved in here....
You need shipyard and the city has to be next to water. When you spawn ships you should click water for destination, otherwise the game will glitch. And yes transport works. You can put armies and sail across the water.

wow, it seems he is really Jon. [e digicons]o_O[/e] [e digicons]O:)[/e] [e digicons]:D[/e] Well, please do not mind some people who are rather emotional, and I hope good luck with you and Stardock (because Elemental really needs luck now.)
Elemental has proper tactical battle 'screen' (or you can call it 'window') unlike in CiV series where Sid himself rejected such idea. ....More thinking of it, the reason why Civ5 is in such mess is that it does not have proper tactical battle system thanks to Sid (as Sulla pointed out, with 1up system the whole game had to be dumbed down.)
It's 40 bucks. Not 50. Are we on same page? http://impulsedriven.com/galciv2ul P.S : and also the game worth 50$ if you love 4x.... there aren't any better 4x other than Civ4 with expansions.
There isn't any proof that Jon is the person who ruined the Civ5. More likely some bad decisions and communication between the team and execs made Civ5 half-baked game. Please, chill already (the pic above is great), this is Elemental forum and we do not need another "Jon ruined my game", "Civ5 is terrible" threads. There are plenty in CFC and you can make new ones there. Please let him work... You can always judge yourse
You have to build a city. Sov alone is already very weak. Build a city -> working on buildings to bring resources -> build armies -> explore.

wow wow wrong quote... and someone already answered the question.
How do you dl the new patch? I havent touched the game since the first week of release and I just downloaded the update but it only updated to v1.09e. Disclaimer: I had not played 2009 version. So far I am impressed. I feel it's easy-version (or you can say negatively, dumbed-down version) of Simcity series. While I miss encountering RCI zoning nightmare and other detailed stuffs which are missing from this game, it has plenty of basics of city builder. Graphics are fine while optimization may need some work (but it is perfectly acceptable.) How's anyone else's thought?
No, I don't want Civ-clone as well. Already enough with Civ IV.
It's true. I mean, it has to be true, otherwise there will be no other proper explanation that why most of AAA titles sucking hard these days. (Half joking half seriousness here) I am more interested in impending failure of SOR MMORPG. Hmm, 300 million dollars... That's for three times of GTA IV budget. I just began to wonder if EA indeed spent 300 millions on it, how would they cover this if the game fails (which, based on EA's performance alone,
....is NOT bugs/glitches on Singleplayer (for console's case), no private match option (for consoles again), not-working server browser (for PC), crappy hit registration and so many things on UI that gone completely wrong and lame.... (well, above problems already made this game garbage as I wrote on previous thread, but..) It's lack of contents. Simply, there aren't enough maps and weapons to toy with. There are only 8 maps
And OP's wish just came true... https://www.stardock.com/about/newsitem.asp?id=2056
Holy crap, this is prime example of "garbage". And they are charging 60$ for this. Only saving grace is that they actually managed to optimize their game engine (smoother gameplay than BFBC2), but otherwise if you are buying this game, you are buying it for singleplayer. No need of asking questions, just download it now and play yourself how bad this game is.
??? How? via e-mail?
I have Civ 5, and currently I can't play because for some reason, the game crashes at exactly 15 min mark. But like Elemenetal, it will be patched thus I am waiting.
Are you kidding? Squad power isn't additive: each member of the squad checks versus armor independently (which is a good thing!). Summons are much, much more powerful than even late game squads.
At least based on my limited understanding on xml files (tweaking, modding stuffs while waiting for new patches) I believe it is addictive (I mean, both ATK and health is addictive, then why armor shouldn't anyway?)
