Do we have any retconned settings or stories? You should talk about Destiny's Embers. Most people are probably not even aware of the book's existence by now.
The main problem FE;LH had is being fixed as it is being made with a 64bit system as opposed to the 32bit that was the cause of most of the originals problems
Yes, moving from 32bit to 64bit is not really something that can be said as a mere improvement. It is recreating the engine from the start. So some of the persistent issues will probably not appear. But, as long as the 64bit engine mimics th
As I wrote, need to look at how the turn is resolved ( https://forums.elementalgame.com/537900/ ) And perhaps this would be out of the scope, maybe the water area could be expanded rather than merely acting as a blank/inaccessible space.
Many years ago, I expressed that I would not buy any other Stardock games ever, except the new Elemental game if it ever comes out. I have no idea how Stardock games are these days; the last time I heard anything about Stardock was regarding the dispute over the Star Co
I mean, those of us who bought it back in the day still have it for download, last I checked. I remember reinstalling it back in 2015 to check on some mod stuff for FE, started it up for fun and E:WoM sure was garbage all the way through. But FE:LH was a good game bordering on great, and I think early E:WoM buyers got it for free along with FE. So I think I came out of all that pretty damn well, I just had to wait a couple more years.
Anyone who actually participated in original Elemental alpha/beta should remember memory issue / crash is just one of major issues the game had. I would say the memory issue was not even a priority issue at all. Game features were simply non-functional from the first place, even before we are talking about the memory issues and crashes. Like, basic things such as auto-save (yes, this is still broken and still un-fixed nor recognized as bug, to this date). Basic pathfind
5 Years of work. Thank you for this grand mod Primal_Savage.
How can I train troops as battalion, or anything more than 6 units? I don't see the button or choice for battalion after the research is completed.
Steam review scores may give you some hint. Look at the Steam review score for Rival, and look at the review score for previous game, Fallen Enchantress : Legendary Heroes. There are many good reasons why most of FE:LH modders did not move to Sorcerer King. Despite Stardock's intention, SK is simply far worse than FE:LH no matter how hard they tried.

Like 99% of all AI problems of this game is solely caused by simultaneous turn. I am not sure whether this is possible at this point, but reverting the game back to one-by-one turn would immensely help AI to actually function. I believe this solution will also work on Sorcerer King as well. Oh, this will also probably allow us to use auto-save. The core reason why auo-save file is corrupted is because the engine attempts to save stuffs when simultaneous turn is in proce
Or you can simply keep re-load the game and you will eventually see border disappears. It's due to memory leak obviously. If you re-load the game, and see the error log with full of memory leaks, it's almost insane. ....I really hope you guys would add monster zone of influence thing though.
Thank you for the response. Also, I found another possible bug : It seems Boreal Sword is no longer available for troop design. Other vanilla arcane weapons are all there, but the this one-hand sword seems omitted. RIght now I am using troop-based sov so I will report if there are any other bugs regarding training troops.
My god, did not know you were still working on this game. It's been already several years. Too bad the game still goes memory overflow as soon as I try to load a save file when another session is going on (forcing me to completely quit the game then restart). As well as... all the relatively fatal bugs still not fixed at all. I played the game with your mod, and I really liked it. Finished playthough as army-focused sov (the most safe and the most boring style) and righ
It's a shame if it tanked. There are some interesting ideas there, and it's fun to play in parts, but I'd have to agree it isn't as fun to play as Legendary Heroes, and some of the design choices are a bit odd. The strangest thing for me is to make things simpler and then to come up with the most mind-bogglingly complicated crafting system I've ever seen, especially for making basic equipment for your normal troops.
The game, unfortunately unsurprisingly for many of us, tanked. You can check the status of the game at Gamespy, and it's not healthy. When you put two elements which typical 4X gamers hate the most (timer, little AI interaction), it is not going to sell well.
I had no idea 2.0 came out ( and it apparently a long ago) Not sure if this stamina is what this game needs right now. I really hoped monster zone would had been implemented, but I guess an update is an update. However, I really like to see this auto-save being fixed. I am not sure if you Stardock folks know why auto-save is broken..... but let me explain; auto-save feature tries to save a game when the turn-c
I really do not understand the whole strategy of releasing another new Elemental game release. Yes, original Elemental was underwhelming. But a lot had improved on FE, and with LH, the game was getting really, really great with all of the features and depth. Only problem was lack of polish in general, which really hurts the game's reputation. <span style="font-size:

With recent EULA enforcement, they are successfully destroying a lot of big 3rd party servers. The whole system is ready, and it is just a matter of turning the switch on. 2.) Modding scene will be killed. I see some of modders are already stopping the work; Microsoft has been very anti-
No, it is not a feature. It's a joke. It's other way to admit that they just cannot fix this bug. If it were truly by design, it would had been consistent. But, sometimes it happens at second attempt, or 7th attempt, or...... yeah, you should get the clue. Unfortunately and rather remarkably, this does happen even in very first attack (very rarely), even with cities with extra units (not just militia) inside, causing the city to be capture
It seems metal and crystal resources are not spawning on the map anymore. A big bug I think.
It's very, very old bug existed since original Fallen Enchantress.
Kaspersky is probably best. But it is resource hog as far as I remember. Currently using F-secure and I am happy with it.
No, it is not because of magic stuffs, users do not care whether the game is fair or not.... This is singleplayer game. There was some multiplayer-related discussion on recent dev post, but I bet less than 1% of buyers of Galactic Civilizations 3 would ever play multiplayer; 4X Games, by time-consuming nature, gives the most unsuitable multiplayer experience. Heck, remember Demigod, a multiplayer-oriented game, only 25% of people ever played multiplayer? What this game
1. Undead's growth is static. That is, if growth of city is 2+, it's 2+ til it reaches the population limit unlike food. With that and morrigan's call, the population growth can get out of control very easily if you get a couple of death shards. 2. No unkeep on troops = you can rush projects more frequently. 3. 50% physical resistant female ghosts. 4. Spells like haunted army is quite strong for early-mid game if you have plenty of mana source.
