Choosing the Faction/Sovereign They are essentially tied together since there is only 1 vanilla sovereign available for each faction unless you already created something else. Unfortunately, there aren’t many strong differences between factions (will explain as the game goes later, but here are brief explanations for each Faction/Sovereign. Elemental : Legendary Heroes detailed playthrough for new players. For the sake of this playthrough for new players, I won’t be using any custom heroes nor faction. This playthrough is done with all of DLCs installed. Part 1 : https://forums.elementalgame.com/450427/get;3421688 </s
I have a 4/3/2 a 3/3/3 and most strangely a 2/3/4. can I use the latter as a starting city or will it be pop capped? To grow to 5 level city you need 5 food. So in al cases you will be capped. The less food the worse. You can add some more food by spells, so 4 is enough. If you have wild grain near, then 3 is enough. But you can live well without 5 level city. 4 level city is good enough. You need esse
Stack either dodge-related trait or as above said, underdog. Rage is surprisingly good too.
Always go for highest materials for the first city. Sure you will have to get garden if the food tile is 1, but still going for tile with material of 5 or 6 is the best way : you get much faster troops being trained, and improvement being built quite fast. Even better if that tile is next to or on the forest.
It is new to 1.5 No it is not intended fix, it is a bug. Also, intentional or not, this bug also makes main stack of monster lair stays still until somehow manages to group up with unclouded wandering monster and then able to move.
Yes this is a really extremely old issue that persists since FF, nothing new. Since Stardock keeps saying they cannot reproduce this error, consider it will be never fixed.
I'ts decimal issue. That number is probably something like -0.3 or anything less than -0.5, the game rounds the number and shows as just -0, but it is still -0.3 and -0.3 is not equal to 0.
^ And yet, there has been plenty of great new mods just since its (official) release only less than a week ago. I'd hardly call that pointless. I completely concur with the OP, for the exact same reasons.
You are confused. The stuffs that existed on FE and still available in LH will work, thus some mods can be updated for LH. But none of 'new' features such as skill
Many of LH's added stuffs are un-moddable. It's really pointless to have a separate mod forum when it is already announced it won't have proper mod support.
Thank you for the answers. I thought about adding separate model type indeed, but it will be rather untidy.....
So, I made a mercenary trait, that is great. https://forums.elementalgame.com/444056/page/1/#3354953 Now, I want to add exclusive traits for the mercenary trait in unit design. This means only when a unit has mercenary trait, those traits would appear and the player can select them. Except, of course, it seems not that easy to get them working.
Thank you for the suggestions, I am checking things one by one.
When you get you S4 with JB you willl be in a whole new world. Great music app that works very well is Doubletwist. Thats my favorite music player. I know it will run Wav files, but I converted to MP3 @ 320 cbr. Sounds very good and I can store more on my 32gb card.
Thank you for the suggestion, I will definitely check it out.
I have a gingerbread android phone (Droid 3). But due to many reasons, I was unable/unwilling to use it with full potential. I have an Ipad too, but I literally use it only when I am doing exercising on a treadmill for web browsing. But things have changed and I need a new smartphone now. So... after good amount of research and stuffs (wow, just when did Nokia go down? Weren't they no.1 in cellphone world?) I bought Samsung Galaxy S4 32gb Unlocked. It
I'll try to be succinct here. I have come to the realization that there were a lot of people who liked War of Magic. And I agree that the biggest hit against the original release of Elemental was that it was unstable at launch. There are a number of reasons why that happened which I won't go into here. However, you have to judge each game on its own merits. War of Magic was a big game with a lo
It's like watching typical Linux desktop Distro development. For instance, for more than a decade, developers and OEMs have struggling with proper ALSA support. Just when we finally got a stable, nearly fully supported audio system for Linux, BOOM! Suddenly Pulseaudio comes out nowhere because apparently someone needs some features that 99.5% of people won't use ever, making the whole investment on Linux audio moot. The best thing is that the features which are actually so b
Wow, already released, wtf. Did not expect this fast...
Quoting kwm1800, reply 5Well, the problem is there is a hard-coded limit on how many designed units I can set up. It's male/female/other and that's it. So races like Ironeers and Yithril are screwed because they have both Golem and Jugg for 'other' slot. This I know... but there are ways around this fact, take my female hencman mod... I need the slot of other2 (not there) so the only work around is to
Not knowing exactly what you are doing, you can produce a similar effect by utilizing the special slot. Create a special unit for particular race. Mercenaries should be hirable from the Capitar and thus, you can add another unit (like the Golem and Juggernaut) and call this one Merc. If you choose merc you get a variety of traits that you can force this unit to have and not have utilizing supported model type. You can then reproduce
I've done this with my summoner mod. If you choose an earth summoner you cannot choose an ice summoner. One could only have one of these traits at a time. Edit: Although, looking at your situation it may be that you need to work out a system of pairs of traits... one or the other.
Yes, I looked your code and I know this... but obviously this is not really going to work well with my situation.
So, from that wage problem..... I fixed this by making negative income trait with production reduction bonus. Now, the problem is I want to restrict this trait... there are some traits which should not be together with a new trait I made. As usual, I don't see such tag/method from the original file. For example, If a unit has "Mercenary" (-10 gold when quene, -2 gold per turn, -50 production), I don't want the unit to be able to have "Fast
I will figure out a work-around to the problem. One issue is that this is a modding thread, but the other more important issue is that they have in-game spells that are literally broken because of this problem. The modding threads I do not think they get viewed as much, but there is a more serious issue of they have a spell that is broken because of the tag. I'm more confident that they can get this f
I did some more testing and it appears that Heavenfall is correct in the fact that "TargetUnit" on the apply to caster tag is equivalent to "CastingUnit", I'm going to do more testing to get the same result, currently my only thoughts are to use an area effect spell that will tame only at the centers radius and give mana to all units around it equivalent to the creatures level by applying the modifier to the tile. This will be the on
Thank you for the work, I will definitely test this out.
