I had this exact problem (spells) It went away when I deleted the bug repair mod and started a new game.

I had a similar issue. Leader has int of 14 was using lighting, missed a bear 2atk 1def every time. Was a custom sov, if that makes a difference.

When I bring up the character page, the equip button has been pushed off and I am unable to figure out another way to equip the Sovereign. The build a town button was functional if not intuitive. Could you please add a beach graphic for the cloth map. I have been playing a lot in cloth map mode, as it has lessened the frequency of crashes, but to find beaches you are forced to shut the cloth map off in order to find them and then turn it back on. Dots - Dashes - anything that seems to differentiate from the normal coastal line would be awesome! Thanks! [e digicons]:beer:[/e]

I had this quest and I ended up getting it to work. It tied the quest to a specific Champion. I brought all my guys to a square next to the trigger and put the stones on each guy until it worked. If that isn't your situation then I'm not sure what you would do. Maybe the game linked the quest to a regular troop or something. Hope that helps.

I respect the decision to remove the function, I design and build for a living and sometimes stuff just isn't up to snuff. I feel confident that they will address the issue and provide multi-player combat when they are happier with its functionality. Off topic, I'm just stoked to be getting such a game, effectively just moments away...
Can't wait for the games release. Saddened that tactical is out for multiplayer. 4-5 of us had planned on some group gaming but as nearly all of them are control freaks, autocalc wont cut the mustard! We can skill up on single player though! hopefully it wont be permanently disabled. Maybe you can put it into a hotseat version. Best would be to toggle it on and off at the start. On if you have patience, and like crushing your friends, off if you dont. </

You should perhaps add in a few hundred more tiles, get to an even thousand or so. The added challenge could help spark those creative juices!
