So, you don't want me to introduce a fix for this ;) I already thought about upping the first level to have the maximum grain at the tile, not sure if that will prevent the problem. I've had it where the city leveled to level 5 within the first 3 turns of the game, but haven't had that happen lately. 1.5 was released on November 25, so you are probably running 1.5 game. This problem has cropped up several times, and I don't think anybody truly knows what causes it. I've been able to reproduce the effect a long time ago, but these few tests I've done recently I've not been able to reproduce the level 9 village bug.

No, it is not the naming scheme on the city. It is what I suggested before... but after looking deeper into the problem is the problem not fixed in 1.5? Deorcnysse is bugged in the beginning of the game... if you can take the city when it is level 1, the city will function like a normal city. Problem is after the second turn it moves from level 1 to level 5 to 7 depending on the grain output on the spot. Thus, the city avoids catching the city ability requirement set in the core abilities at the prereq for level 1. Now, I've tried to create a work-around for this city, with partial success. He was trying to accomplish the snaking effect, but failed to add Forest My mod writes with the actually logging camp and so doesn't actually need it from the mod folder, hence why my snaking mod doesn't actually include the forest part. Similar to the pier version as well. Hope that helps.

I see a lot of these things and I can help but think about Maximum Overdrive... I'd be excited to see this happen, but there are quite a few limitations at the moment. First the FAA has to change some rules for these things to be usable in the first place. Also, not sure it will be a cheaper way of transporting goods to homes.

If I build the unique faction Tower of Dominion, in my main city. But no longer need it in that city, I cannot build one in another city, so I can demolish this building and build it in another city...
