Yup appears it is missing the 1 tag.
Mostly I'm just wondering why that works when the above doesn't, and thinking that it would be an acceptable workaround. Or does the Legacy protection not extend to spells?
Just makes them immune to attacks, not spells. If you want spell immunity add the ability to the unit "TraderTest" ImmuneToMagic Boom ALL caravans are immune t
Yes it works, and you can mod it in...
I notice the same thing with my game as well when I try to target them with spells. Is the AI circumventing this as it does with other things... on a separate note might you consider a mild graphical change to the caravan as in this post. https://forums.elementalgame.com/450269/page/1/
I cannot reproduce this effect...Primal_Savage you are running quite a few mods, could this be the cause of the problem?
No. Any change to the xml files will not have an effect on your current game. The only work around would require you to use give me all items cheat. Then you will get the item that is required to make Markin join your cause...but that will also give you every single item in the game at the same time.
Correct me if i am wrong, but does your trade ships have to "follow" you in a group to work correctly?
Yes, your trade ships must be in your squad in order for them to trade. I miss the automation... where is my autopilot (or at least let the co-pilot fly the ship) At least when the ship is travelling through a highway you can look at the map and it will still be moving.
I think I might enjoy the Shut Up Yisha mod ;)
To be fair, I have yet to reproduce this error after hundreds of hours of game-play. I'm sure when they find out where the error is happening it will get fixed.
Good changes... I'll have to check around to see if they start rampaging the country side, I do see them running around their realms.
I find it extremely funny that these people want to create a game without having secured the appropriate rights from the publishers (Although, CBS has said they will not object to the creation of the game, according to the kick-starter). Also, the we'll finish it by 2014 seems rather ambitious for having basically nothing done and only also $15000 is required to hire some help for a year? It seems this was doomed to fail to begin with. They also, suggest that if you fund them they
I never find explores to expensive in this game. They are relatively cheep at the moment.
The trait stealthy is a player trait (empire wide ALL units get the trait) from Tarth, i.e. Tarth units shouldn't get attacked unless by accident or by the Wildland Creatures.
I didn't think this was possible...
Glad to hear it Heavenfall...
i have encountered the no trade bug
Yeah I encountered this bug within the campaign. Found out that you have to tell the freighter to buy the 100, then not accept the job offer by the co-pilot... wait for the frieghter to do its thing, then fly over, wait for the freighter to get into the same space, then sell the wares... Finally got past that point in the campaign (could have been the 1.15 patch that helped this along) <
I don't know if it is my game but this is what the caravan unit currently looks like... (I use the proportional setting) I've played around with the unit and created this look instead... https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/
Well in the near future, I see this in the changelog
* Fixed an issue where wildland bosses would leave their wildland area and attack cities (causing the area to not be able to be defeated as well as destroying early empires)
Waiting to see how they did this.
Agree... The following made me think of these things
asteroids were like little planets because they didn't know any better
There are even things in the middle of space that are planets without stars next to them. http://www.space.com/23143-lonely-alien-planet-discovery.html
* Fixed an issue where wildland bosses would leave their wildland area and attack cities (causing the area to not be able to be defeated as well as destroying early empires)
ooooooo what did you do and how did you do it?
Yup, something is wrong, I was targeted and attacked by several different groups of monsters. I stood 2 tiles away from guardians and they targeted me and moved towards me and attacked. Stealth is not working as intended, oddly enough I didn't get the wandering monsters to target and attack me, only the guardian monsters.
Well at least they have an alternative until you figure out what happened here.
Agreed that the binomial calculates the probability for one item (e.g. Assassin Vambraces); which is why I multiplied the result by 124. (Each item has the same probability) --> Is that the problem?
The problem by just multiplying by 124, you are making the assumption that the events are disjoint, which they are not disjoint. You are comparing a 124 different games where you would get 1 item 5 times. This i
The joys of probability distributions... from my memory on the matter you have to ensure what you are considering does in fact satisfy the conditions of the particular distribution. The birthday problem does in fact create an interesting example for this particular problem. The binomial distribution leads to a miss conception here, when you say 5 identical items, you are speaking about getting 5 of the same thing, not 5 of exactly described one particular item. Take the birthd
I would prefer if Stardock does fix the problem without making the guardians permanently attached to the Wildland. This is a quick-fix at the moment. In comment to the destroy the guardians to clear the wildland, I am of the belief that these guardians should remain close to their wildlands. Why would killing the guardian leagues away cleanse his place of origin? But I suppose the magic that binds the wildland to this creature is tied to its life. But at this point of view, clearing t
