First, and most annoyingly, I find them constantly neglecting obvious treasures around their capital city and in their own territory. Free stuff, so why can't they be more focused on getting it?
I do believe that this was a design decision to stop the AI from being too efficient from taking these goods. They toned the AI from grabbing everything in sight so it leaves the player with the ability to find goodies later in the game. (But that was a long time ago when t

Updated the quest editor to be more user friendly when reading the tutorial and using the editor at the same time. Namely, it will remember your selection for all the treasures and encounters you create with the program. I did extensive UI work on the encounter side of things and corrected some errors that were occurring there, but in the process I might have introduced some errors, that I haven't caught. Looking forward to feedback from people that have tried it out. Let me

Otherwise it is a lot of copy and pasting that occurs when making quests.

Tell your friend to run the game on the newest version and see how it runs. The update they did has made the units move too quickly for me now. The animations are all their but the movement and such is very very quick and smooth. Not something I expected when I upgraded one day. Since your friend has FE, you should be able to make an assessment about how LH would run.

So I ran the game with my Integrated graphics card -Intel(R) HD Graphics 3000- it wasn't as great as when I run it with my GTX 555m, but the flow was relatively smooth and I can play the game with lower graphics nicely. If you have FE, have you played the latest version 1.32. They did some good optimization to the rendering and seemed to do a lot of good. LH is using this optimized engine as well and ran much smoother than FE 1.00. Hard to say how it will run on your computer, but

The list the OP is talking about is this one, which you cannot delete nor remove from the list in game.

Possibly, did you try my fix. The quest functionally runs the same (with a few tweaks), but it should be the same... I don't remember if quests overwrite each other or not... my memory is bad... but if they do work from the mods folder then this tweak might fix the problem with that slavers quest. I suspect they are calling the same battle name and expecting 6 units but only getting 5 when you hire Daxus. So, I added a separate battle tag and called a another objective to check to se

Still can't see how they did that (seems to be a deeper code problem), but that map is T_Grassland_Fertile_04 I thought maybe since it was a boundary of 1 deep of blocked tiles was the problem, but this has a full set of blocked tiles. It seems that the AI is utilizing a pathing that is not available and it's bypassing the map information. What I do notice in common is that each of these units are ranged units and on each of these maps the location of the backu

True, but does the game load these files into memory... I suspect so and memory is a precious commodity when it comes to the game. But when you create a new sovereign then you have a series of factions to sift through from all the ones you've created. An adventuresome sort could make 20 factions and now that person has 20 more factions to sift through to find the one they want. Not a very convenient process. Are they going to spend dev time to fix this minor problem... probably no

I've had the problem happen to me as well, but that happens, I've also notice that if you must return to start location the hero that returns gets the loot. I did this specifically with the Panca archers and started the quest with my sovereign... earned enough fame to get new hero, finished quest with new hero. New hero got the rewards.

This might have the unfortunate side effect of moving off the location and go back to the location (haven't tested that, have to experiment with this) If that is an unfortunate side effect, you could change the quest slightly as Yithril keep the enslaved sailors locked up in a sepa
