Steam is moving to new format, which will allow them to implement new features. Also it will significantly reduce size of downloads needed to patch games.

Try running steam on a laptop without turning it off on your desktop first
Thats not a problem - I do that quite often - only difference is that in such a case client wont "remember" password and you will have to type it there.

If it does beta builds of Rebellion could be nice (no need for QA) PS. If I remember correctly, that was something you wanted Impulse to have.
Yes, it allows that. This was discussed some time ago on Paradox forums and almost caused civil war there :)

Another way to deal with those huge groups of pirates as TEC is to send main fleet to distract pirates for a moment (before jumping safely away) and at the same time build starbase with red button upgrade and colony ships taking pirate base (nuked by novaliths) - red button is great tool :)

Unapproved updates While Valve have always encouraged developers to update their games frequently, those updates would previously need to be approved before they went live. They’re now changing to a new system, where developers can make updates live themselves, with no oversight from Valve. What if your update breaks the game? Customers will tell you, and if you don’t hear them, Valve will tell you what customers are telling them. But ultimately, it’s the d

You all need to understand something. This ruling in NO way requires retailers like Steam, Origin, PSN, and XBLA to provide you with a way to transfer licenses. This ruling simply makes it legal to do so if you find a way. You need to understand the specifics of this case. UsedSoft was buying licenses with unused Oracle software downloads from corporations, then reselling them to other corporations. Oracle was challenging their right to do this, and they
