Well that settles it I am buying that book ASAP and upgrading to limited eddition if I still can :D
Polistes
1.Corpse rain. Causes a rain of corpses to fall on the enemy causing panic and poison damage. 2.Ressurection, revive your fallen units. 3.Plauge summon a plauge on your foers that reduces their population and spreads from city to city.
Is there anyone besides me that would prefer they spend more time on Elemental and release it in February? To me it seem too soon to release already. Or am I just being paranoid? I think that this release date and the state the game is at is cause for worry, its not ready to be released in a month, every thing is too bland and not unique. The Empires and Kingdoms basically play the same and what not, the spells are boring And over all this game needs a big change. And big changes take
And to think I was going to try and kill that one the previous beta build[e digicons]:-"[/e] ... Its size was not so massive then XD
What happened to "Charm Monster"? That was a nice spell where you could cause a wandering creature to come to your side.
Guys guys guys we are forgetting the most important issue, Ale being removed from the game, because of ESRB and ratings Seriously whats up with that? Its not like the average kid is going to know what ale is anyways, now if it was BEER on the other hand I could see that being an issue, but ale, which is mainstay of inns in fantasy setting being removed is silly. And what rating are you going for? E?
The only thing I am going to say is dont rush, lets use all the days we have to make an epic game....
Quoting Lord Cobol, reply 69 "Frogboy don't you dare release it before the 1st of June (when my exams start). Please release it on the 4th (when they end)" I'm retiring in about 2.5 years. Feel free to work on it until Dec 2012 &n
I am not having fun with python either, mine decided it would be funny to take a huge dump when I had guests over... Oh wait this is the coding python your talking about not an actual python. My bad :D
Why not have a Lord of the Rings style option. Early on in the game you have the option of investing your power into an object, and as long as that object (Say a Ring or jewel) remains intact the channeler cannot be destroyed, (Eye of Sauron) However if that object is destroyed or captured your channeler dies and you lose.

I stole this one. I repeat I did NOT draw this!
Yes complexity for the win. They announced this game early enough that I THINK that a lot of ideas could still be implmented fairly easily and also dont forget expansions! What I am thinking atleast this is how i see it is they are kinda in the planning stages, they want to get as many possible ideas and whatnot now and are most open too new ones. However there will come a point where they will be in more of a developing stage where they will not as readi
Will we be able to chose or customize how are cities and building look? Or will they just simply be assigned buy what faction you are. I personally want to be able to chose what my forts and cities look like reguardless of faction. Example(Lord of the Rings, sorry) Say I am Mordor yet I Fancy the style of Gondors buildings, therefore I should be able to emulate that despite faction. Or Simply Reverse that I am Gondor and like Mordors building style. Your thoughts?
I am not really a fan of this other world stuff and these waygates. But thats just me. I myself would prefder that the game have one "universe" so to speak. Not saying your idea is bad but its a bit too far fetched for me, though I also know that a tunneling system for cities in real life is also not as practical either. But still sounds more plausible than waygates. Also how do you counter this tactic? With tunnels all you have to do is find the
I actually like the idea of having a tunneling system that can connect your cities at great cost however.(to allow supplies and commerce during a seige.) And this needs its own thread. If such a thing is implented for balancing reasns shards should not be able to be transported underground.
I refuse to use such noble animals as the bear for plows, carts or chariots! Are you insane?!
LOL if your people worshipped bears using them for ANY reason would be a sin so have no fear.
Unacceptable LOL real "men" should be able to get them. And since spiders and scorpions are fairly mindless(but not completely) one could use a spell to control and tame them. I want to be a good guy with my army of scorpions and spiders LOL
I like the game play art (the map screen is excellent but these two shots here has me put off. This is the excellent map: https://www.elementalgame.com/Screenshots/Empire_Cloth_City_1280.jpg https://www.elementalgame.com/Screenshots/Kingdom_City_Select_1280.jpg <a href="https://www.elementalgame.com/Scre
I for one welcome our new machine overlords. Someone should make a bot and name it Omnius LOL :D As for the beta and preorders I think its fine what they are doing. After all I dont think its fair that people who preorder right before the beta is released should be favored over people who preordered weeks or even months in advance.
I MUST have my army of giant scorpion riders and spider riders! http://www.gamespot.com/pc/strategy/battleformiddleearth2/video/6130945 Best shots at 1:24 and 1:50 And I dont want to be goblins in order to have my giant arachinid army. :P
Quoting Nights Edge, reply 12 I think part of the thing with having the shards immovable is as an anti-turtling measure. You force players to come out of their shell and compete for limited resources. I hope it will be possible to turtle. I hate it when games try to force you to go out and be aggressive. Sometimes I want to play aggressive, sometimes I want to be isolationist and defensive, let me
I would accept that challenge LOL and then procede to bring that empire back from ruin. Its fun at least in my opinion to do stuff like that.
Yes for single player LOL after all it would be bad to switch in multiplayer LOL
One of the things that I think would be cool is the ability at certain points in the game be able to switch and play the other faction, while the AI takes your former faction. Example you are the "Men" And you have defeated the Fallen to the point where they are on the verge of collapse. Well it would be awesome if you could "change teams mid game/during game" And then you could play as the fallen and try to rebuild the empire. ANd fend off the men, the odds would be stacked but I lik
I SO agree with this idea, it would be awesome ransack an emenies city and take their good, also looting the dead from their armies is awesome as well! I hope this gets implemented.
