Main issue I see is that the other factions dont offer their sons or daughters to YOU especially if you either have a good relationship, or in a bid to achieve peace from an inpending defeat... Other than that I dont have many issues with it, infact its good if your channel;er cannot die, but if he gets killed you dont automatiocally lose the game because your child inherits everything, that can save someones butt if they channeler fall due to a mishap.

The enemy leader could have had these two things happen; first of all he could have ran out of essence, two you had captured his last city and hence he had no where to escape too and thus was killed, you need to have one essence and one city inorder for the escape ability to function.

Yeah that irritating to say the least, I get a lovely greeting from a kingdom I just meet then the next turn they declare war on me... luckily I managed to curbstomp them with my channeler and wipe them off the map but still its annoying especially since I wanted to be allies with this particular faction. Some times I use it to make a unit with a lot more hitting power than the designer makes automatically.

That was merely a beta thing where race attributes were tested before the game release.

I got super long range seed so its all good! XD Seriously they could/should implement it, where in order to have kids you must be in the same city/tile... no more detailed than that though, its kinda funny thatg my wife has a kid while I am currently invading someone half a world away! Unless she is indeed sleeping around.. in which case calls for a beheading! XD

Those are the least of your issues I promise you. Some of the late game monsters will give you pause even if you have a huge army and awesome channeler leading it!

I will give it props for being the most "random" name generator out there though, I rarely see the same thing twice :D Unfortunetly they convey nothing which is sad. LOL

Actually you do get DLC for getting the book, I am going to get the book solely for that reason. Another SP campaign would be awesome!

As stated in another thread with this same topic I agree, the name generator needs more "unrandom" names, as things stand currently the random names convey nothing in terms of the game's atmosphere.

Agreed, and they need names that seem more "not random" if you catch my drift, the names as they are currently convey nothing to me about the atmosphere of the game.

There are more missions coming, also if you buy that elemental book you get another mission line from that book.

Dude I had a daughter with 183 essence just by normal reproduction! :D SOOO COOL! Though admittedly the only way she could take on that beast would be to use multiple volcanos on it.... More disturbing was the fact when I reloaded the game that my daughter turned into a boy!

The children aging they way they are is fine. :) I dont want my channeler to grow old too fast now. Eternal youth FTW!

Yeah the creatures spawn way too fast and grow wayy to strong in a short period, I wish there was a way to delay their appeance, perhaps a way to stop the adventures from causing a ruckous?

I just wish they would put in a "landscape type" for each faction, so you can select what the land turns into under your factions influnce. Do you want the charred landscape for your "kingdom" faction, the lush green landsacape for your "fallen" faction, or perhaps something different like the ice terrian for your "custom" faction, or something else entirely?
