Oh this is a turn based game, not a real time strategy game? Well I suppose you can always make it to have one semi near... I still think it would be cool, but I dont really like the idea of a city rising up out of land due to a spell you cast.

I did not say just because your evil, it all depends on your empires values, which as the channeler I assume you have control of, so if your evil yet value your woodlands then thus you would be able to keep them. There would be nothing preventing a "good side empier" from turning their lands into a volcanic/industrial wasteland if they want too. Its dicated on the choices you as the ruler makes, and the values you and your subjects have.(Not wether your good or evil.) I

I think it would be awesome if thew landscape was dictated by your empires value system and how they treat it. Meaning if you value your enviroment ther land in your empires borders will turn lush and productive, basically a paradise that is unspoiled. However if your empire values industry over the enviroment or is an evil empire your lands will turn into a blasted wasteland, and the closer to your capital the more intense the effect(For both good an evil) There should also be an intermidiet

Given what I read from the Lore section I think it would be really cool, if all you started with was your character. Then you need to journey and look for a scattered human settlement and see if you can covert them to your cause.(Some may want a ruler others may not) I really dont think you should start with a small settlement immidetly. Its best in my opinion if you have to find one, as you cant make something like that from nothing. Also it allows you to TRUELY build your empir

I like the idea of having a single keep/castle/fortress where you can be reincarnated however for game play purposes it should only be limited to ONE per faction and any one time, this prevents spamming them. I also like the idea of having very loyal subjects use a summoning cerimony involving essiance to bring you back. Above all I think the reincartion thing needs to be a LONG, hard drawn out process. If your/enemy avatar does die, I think your empire should just go neutral

Well I for one want to be able to have control of various animals. I dream of leading my loyal army of giant insects to glory :D Also wolves, and other predatory animals would be awesome units. Here is a basic list of units i want to see. Giant Scorpion Giant spider Giant centipede Semi large spiders, scorpions, and centipedes afterall swarming an enemy fortrress through sheer numbers is very coll looking Wolves Giant reptiles(Not really
I can see your point and to some degree agree with it but I'm still not persuaded to change my position. I think SD has made the right call with its kid-glove approach to dragons. Maybe that is because I'm a very old P&P gamer with many fond memories of doing tabletop crawls for 20+ hours at a clip only to come across a dragon on occasion. Oddly enough those are the gaming weekends I remember most - for what it is worth...
If not Dragons it would be nice to

I strongly dislike the idea of avatar death=Game over. Rather I would prefer that somehow you are able to release your spirt and reform it to a physical body once you have enough power. (Similiar to Sauron after the battle of the last alliance.) He fled, and then was able to reform himself a LONG time after he lost that physical body.

Well to be more precise I dont want an army of all powerful dragons as you are right they would not be as special. But I think you could do this if you had various types/species of dragons that preformed different things/ had different specialties. Here are some other posts I made to this topic: https://forums.elementalgame.com/329873 This one has my most detailed ideas on dragons so far: h

I like the idea of recruiting them as well however I do think they can be a playable race, after all like I stated earlier not all dragons should be all powerful. Their should be different dragon types with different abilities and characteristics, and of course some are not meant for fighting and whatnot either.
Quoting Polistes, reply 9 I want to make a Race od Dragons and actually have them have a society Like humans LOL Polistes, I think dragons have already been stated in this game to be vastly powerful e.g. one dragon could easily kill a legion of a thousand me, so having the player control a society of them might just be a tad unbalancing don't you think. To me Dragons are what make a fantasy along with trolls, wargs, fellbeasts ect ect. The Idea of basically playing as humans is kinda boring, bring on my orcs, goblins, and whatnot. Dragons would also be sweet. Also if I recall there are different types of Dragons, not all of them should be all powerful or deadly.

Even better would be if you could PLAy as the Dragons, you know like a seperate faction with its own views on the world and politics. Though I like the idea of coverting Dragons to your cause and giving them essance.

From what I have read I would like to see the Dragons be their own seperate faction that can be played, with their own campaign agendas.

Well I seriously hope the graphics get a HUGE overhault, this looks like child's game! You know like for like preschool kids that dont know better ;) I am still interested but as these graphics stand its quite a turn off. Now if the graphics look similar to the box art I will be impressed.
