Quoting Othello, reply 191I perceive the concern is Gamestop bringing their obnoxious and aggressive business practices to Impulse. What practices? They haven't even made one Impulse related decision yet, other than their intention to buy it. Furthermore, Impulse will be run day to day by the same staff that are here now. I think the perceived concern you express is largely imaginary, not real. IMO[/quo
I don't get it. Why all the hightened "concern" over Gamestop?? Why make real decisions based on imaginary problems? I've got no issues buying on Impulse. I've never had any problems buying software with Impulse and, as importantly, maintaining my software for me so, why would that suddenly change now just because there are new owners? I think when you all see that Impulse w
Will there now be an option to download Elemental and SoaSE updates outside of Impulse? I'd much rather not deal with anything Gamestop. - Othello
I've had problems playing Titan Quest too. It's the only game that overheats my more than capable laptop to the point of it automatically and abruptly shutting it down. I feel your Titan Quest pain... - Othello

When it finally arrives, would you suggest "uninstall, redownload" or "update current installation" Or does it not matter?
I have not bought a computer game from a brick and mortar store since SoaSE (bought the first week). Whats the point? The boxes clutter up space. You have to update games online anyway. Digital distributors have better selections and sales. There's no disc to keep in or worry about. I won't buy digital music because the quality deprivation but that doesn't happen with video games. I had assumed it does as Crucial had suggested it as compatible RAM. How do I check? *edit* according to the specs in my manual: my sager np2090 supports, " up to 4GB Dual Channel - Requires 64bit Vista" I have a new installation of 64bit vista running now.
I've been running on 2gb RAM for some time now. I have 2 sticks of 1gb RAM inside. I recently purchased 2x2gb RAM. When they arrived I put them in. Powering on my computer, nothing. the screen didnt power up. The fans were moving, the dvd drive was spinning but no visuals. Thinking it was a bad stick of RAM, I put one in. The computer worked as normal. Did the same with the other, that one works too. Maybe it is a bad slot? Each worked in each slot. I bought them as a

I used to play WoW with a girlfriend. She became very obsessed with it. And in the end it was very destructive to the relationship. But in hindsight, maybe I should have introduced it to her sooner. Another girlfriend introduced me to riding horses. She's a famous dressage rider. I hope it works out. I think all MMO's will end up disappointing. Maybe this one wont. Silent Hunter 4 is a serious sim. You will have to devote lots, lots of time if you decide to play it. I bought it off steam while on sale, have over 7+ hours logged and have only sunk one ship outside of the tutorial. Some missions just have you scouting, no aggressive maneuvers. I wasn't able to keep on board, so i abandoned ship, paddled my dingy raft to land. Maybe I just didn't "get it" Although having bought both, I've only played the expansion. For me was not buggy at all and f
