Carcassone, Catan, Ascension, Lost Cities, Neuroshima Hex, etc. Strategy card games on the iPhone are no strangers to me. When I saw Stardock made a card game I was expecting good things. All that's holding me back are the reviews, aside from those suspiciously positive initial reviews, which mention a pervasive push/requirement for in app purchases to experience the full game. So I'm asking the source for a description of how pervasive and necessary in app purchases are to ex

My laptop's video card died a few days ago so I went looking for a replacement. I was thinking of getting another gaming laptop but am enamored with the idea of something slim and sleek. The Microsoft Surface Pro really called out to me. There are two concerns: the tiny hard drive means I'll need an external harddrive hooked up often and the screen isn't even 11 inches. So I plan on using my new laptop for music and photo/video editing mostly but I do enjoy games occasiona
There is a lesson for all the kids out there..dont work hard. The quality of what you actually produce doesn't matter. Just make sure you buddy up with insiders in your industry and you can make an annual working mans wage in a month. Anyone who actually works a job instead of gaming the system is a moron.
I assume you're talking about a different game, 'cause At The Gates looks pretty cool. But I defy anyone

Wow, really cool stuff! The concept of having to keep armies supplied is very interesting and, unfortunately, underused in contemporary gaming. Having the landscape change so drastically with the seasons is an innovation in turn based gaming I have never seen before. It seems so natural and obvious it's surprising it hasn't been utilized sooner. The art style reminds me of a polished The Battle for Wesnoth for the iPhone, which is no slam against your team'

Geeze! They get you by making you think you can get all the games for a penny, then you get there only to find you have to pony up a whole dollar! What crazier is if you want Saint's Row 3 you have to fork over almost six bucks! Seven enjoyable games and five soundtracks for six dollars? No thank you THQ, get your money grubbing fingers out of my pockets!

Project Gutenberg has more free books than you could ever read. ManyBooks.net has fewer but more "quality control" The iPad is a painful eReader compared to the kindle/nook and filled with distractions. Shorter battery life and it's like reading while looking into a light bulb. The iPhone screen is much to small to do serious reading. You can buy a kindle for less than seventy bucks and stock that with the classics for free. In my opinion the kindle

There's the spell to turn a shard into a death shard, but what about a high level spell to turn an air shard into a fire shard? On a side note, where do I find the file with all the spells?

Dino D-Day was the one I was thinking of. It bombed. Dinosaurs with guns? Com'on... This has been a good year for dinosaur enthusiasts...unless they actually played Dino D-Day or Dino Beatdown

Blizzard and Talon were my go to. Chaos seemed out of place. He has a fart attack, vomit attack, finishing moves include urinating on the foe and sending out a ball of vomit teleporting to the opposite side and sucking it back in. I'm sure he made the game for some people, just not me.

I don't remember a bunny chick. Here's some alpha footage of Primal Rage 2 and it appears they removed the dinosaurs and the fighters look horrible. They look like rejected characters from Robot Chicken. If that's the direction they were going with it, no wonder it was canceled. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QCiKQEVZ7C0 As for the OP, is this not the second dinosaur based FPS this year? Wasn't the other

Primal Rage is my favorite fighting game of all time, Killer Instinct and Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition close behind. It still bums me out the sequel was canned and the ROM is a waaayyy early whatever comes before beta.

Ok this will be poorly formatted but here's my work in progress (perhaps a "Rejuvenate Land" spell to counter this): Scorched Earth Spell: Level 1 Scorched Earth I Burn the house to the ground.

sweet! thanks, never playing without the mod. Death 5 is a little too far for me, moved it to life 2 but that may be too soon (not to mention the 5 mana cost change i made). Is there a way to make it so the land cant even support an outpost? remove shards, iron deposits, etc?

off to a good start but ill solicit other suggestions unless you want to try for both passes...

I have two passes for DOTA 2 to give away. Lets make this fun, first person come up with a fun game gets a pass, second pass goes to the winner.

Would someone be able to create a mod where you could cast a Strategic spell to remove the ability to build cities on a large group of tiles? I would never play without it. It could start small, maybe 3x3 but get up to 15x15 or so.

By the halfway point of the game I had too many cities through conquest to be concerned about. It grew boring building the same upgrades but I didn't want to raze them because the enemy would sneak a pioneer and become the mosquitoes of the game. What about an option added when razing a city to destroy the ability to building resources on the land that was under it's control? I feel this would make the endgame clip along. Othello

I'm having the same problem as OP. I have given it over an hour and, like OP, it just becomes a resource hog on my machine. EDIT: funny thing, another post said to download it from stardock central. soon as i clicked the file to open the newly downloaded stardock central program FE begins to extract... Othello

There is a free "Starter Edition" you can check out of Diablo 3 that will give you a feel of the game available on their website. Otherwise, Guild Wars 2 has been nothing but impressive to me so far. Othello
