The one i have it installed on is: 2ghz core2duo 4gb ram nvidia 8600mgt vista 64 What I'm surprised by is that I don't notice much improvement when, judging by the lack of complaints, things are running smooth for everyone else. Othello

I think there's a lot of room for creativity with 2-d tokens. They could look like they were carved from wood and weathered, as if they were old and have been through a war. I'm seeing them stylized profiles, portraits, silhouettes of what they represent. I would be interested in the cloth map having different sound effects than the 3-d map. More along the lines of boardgames sound effects. Othello
Does anyone else not notice a performance improvement between WoM & FE? I'm running FE on the same laptop I would run WoM on and can see little if any discernible difference. Everything starts getting sluggish about 40 turns into the game to the point of being a bothersome, even with all graphical options turned down/off. Othello
Thanks for the replies. Thought I'd try Heavenfall's fix before reinstalling and it worked.
I really enjoyed Demigod. With the online community dust, Demigod would be one of those games on my Steam games list I'd wish wasn't there. Isn't Rebellion an improved version of Trinity? I'm looking at Left 4 Dead & Left 4 Dead 2 on my list and am thinking that would be the same situation. The way I see it is you 2 games for about $45 which isn't that good of a deal when you look at the Square Enix collection where I count 11 games I'd play for $5
Anytime I try to play I get a black screen with "String Not Found" where all menu buttons would be. Any suggestions? Othello
Seems to me like there should be some factions which surrender easily and those which wont until the last moment, if even at that. It could be coded to where you say, "oh man, these guys wont surrender until i surround their last capital" and another where you're attacking, thinking "these guys will fall after this second battle" Considering how steeped in lore this game is, I bet the factions fill in the blanks pretty quick.
Thanks for posting this. I put it on my old laptop and Diablo 3 went from 5-20 fps to a solid 30 fps (the cap i set). Karma for you. Although, I could not run Elemental with Game Booster running. A black screen with "string not found" repeating 5 or 6 times down the center of the screen, where the menu should be. Does beta Elemental require something Game Booster stops?
Star Wars the Old Republic could be considered an EA hater's favorite game of all time.
I have always found the laptop vs desktop for gaming debate moot. A desktop wouldn't fit my lifestyle. It would be a luxury expense. For me, it would be like owning a sports car in a city. That's not to say I don't completely agree with anyone who says a desktop will outperform a laptop.
I think its important to note that EA is a publicly traded company. It trades as "EA" on NASDAQ and is currently valued at just over $13 a share. Having to make a profit for their shareholders takes away some of the freedom a privately held company, such as Stardock or Valve, has developing a game. Giving away a free sequel to a game that did not live up to expectations would probably get someone fired at EA. I think the real people ruining the companies are the v
Quoting Othello, reply 94what your melee wiz build? Something like this (don't remember exactly). It was a blast to play in A3-4 of hell but melee doesn't work so well in inferno where the damage comes in an order of magnitude faster than the life steal can fill you back up... so now it's back to boring old orb kiting build.
I'm liking the idea of replenishing your health by being in the thick of it. The pay to win thing is bullshit. Can people get it from a chinese gold farmer? Yes, at the risk of getting their account banned. Disclaimer: I am not saying this is in any way as serious as crime... but to facilitate explaining the issue I draw the following scenario. <br
