You can't play the game that way. The game itself looks like the first screenshot (default) or like the second (with a graphic pack installed). Also, if you really want to play this you should probably read this tutorial http://afteractionreporter

Frankly I think it was worth full price from 1.1. Nothing's perfect.
Get software to monitor your CPU/Mobo and GPU. If it's running in the 80+ you need a new one/better cooler. I had an 8800GTX, great card, but ran really hot, same thing happened to me and it took me a while to check it out and the bugger burned out on me. Now I have a GTX285 and a HUGE new CPU fan/sink and I don't have any problems. Monitoring software is important. Go to your manufacturers website to get some.

This game is so good the developer actually lives off monthly DONATIONS. And I even donated $50. And I'm poor, but this game is very interesting. He hasn't updated the version in a while but it's a great game and should only get better. There's two modes. The primary is Dwarf Fortress where you take a group of dwarves and build an enterprise, mining out a fortress somewhere in the world (Which you pick, and generate the worlds, all having a history of their

Nice GW Swicord. lol. I do love to turtle in some games. Spread, spread, turtle.
He spoke about how he wanted to do 'little forests' because the fields looked barren. There should be MOSTLY forrest throughout the world, unless of course u custom built the world, because the world is just getting back to a human/fallen population and after the war forrests would have been growing for 100 years or w/e.
Thanks a lot Ky, keep it up.
Great series.
You get the ship and chuckle gleefully and evily to yourself thinking of all the possibilites!!! Then you realize you have NO idea how to use it...experimentation turns out..badly. I wish I was immortal with all powers possible of a God-like being.
I agree with the pink black mage.
I hear there's stores that sell CDs still..that's like a disc with the music on it and you can do w/e you want with them!
I actually never play Campaigns in games these days, sandbox or multiplayer is always better.
How can you download vapor(w)vare?
to klingons with the same fascist politics and bloodthristy-ness with mutinies and all sorts of crap etc.
Just like Rome got destroyed by barbarians, tech isn't everything. It sure helps though.
I like to go evil the first time I play anyway. Slowly expand with solid borders with a heavy emphasis on researching/finding/making magical items/spells, etc. If I become all powerful I like to totally seal my borders and see what the other factions do. Back in MoM I remember creating a crazy powerful hero that could destroy any stack by himself...something I have yet to be able to do again...I guess I was better when I was 12. lol

I always wanted Birthright when it came out but couldn't get it. I'll have to find it. So far on this list Dungeon Keeper and Syndicate also hit me. Great games. (Syndicate Wars? Ew). Majestic 2 = DK? I don't see it really.
Your cat, which is quite large, escapes one day and witnesses a year old puppy being obliterated by an energy surge that opens the way for man to conquer space. A side effect of the energy blast causes your cat's cells to nearly instantly regenerate, and do so without any malfunctions (aka cancer). Sadly he now craves human flesh and you're sleeping form looks awfully yummy... I wish my puppy had lived.
