Yeah a clutch would be way too much. Especially if they lived to age a bit (Depending on if they can age, which they shouldn't be able to do unless the game lasts 5,000 turns.)

This developer is redoing Master of Magic for windows, Ver .06 is out, they're also adding multiplayer. Haven't tried it much. I would like to be able to spend resources, in preperation not at death, to do some magic that allows you to return, weakened, from death- but only once. And a good bit of resouces/magic/w/e

It was ok back in the day, different from most RTS at that time.

From some of the Dev. Journals it looks like the tech tree is gonna start basically right after civilization was destroyed and go pretty deep.

I don't even have the cash to pre-order right now. ...although if the game was out I'd buy it anyway. (Long story)
