You guys are pretty hilarious! [e digicons][/e]

Why do the fallen start with life magic? I thought they had death magic.. bug?
I kind of agree with one of the first post on more strategical spells Assuming Ice shard = water... It might be pretty neat creating a river out of nowhere (more choke points), or swamps (defense penalty? ) to troops (nom nom advantage ) What about causing an avalanche (if there are mountains nearby, that do significant damage and slow troops to a crawl (when they are forced to cross it?) Same spell could be adopted for earth shard-ers "Big boulde
Scaling rocks.... I think it looks a little weird when you zoom all the way in (baby sovereign), but that might just be the graphics.
Rock on! :D
Interesting Choices: I like the idea of being able to build anywhere, though perhaps a penalty is in order for doing so on less-than-favorable soil? And the idea of pioneers being required for cities after the founding of the kingdom/empire is also pretty solid imo. w00t new update! Rock on stardock and frogboy!

Zerg rush. since sov's dont actually die if they have a city, they send them selves, adventurers, and peasants at the monster until its dead. so monsters do not regenerate hp..?
Not at the moment
While playing the multiplayer version of elemental, after my city went to level 2, buildings I had researched that required a level 2 city disappeared. I was no longer able to find the library (I researched ) in the build menu, I was also unable to build things like a lumber yard even thought I had a level 2 city with 14 slots.
I find at level 3 city, my options of what I can build are significantly reduced though
What do you mean? Can you explain this further.
Awesome! It seems that certain games become immortalized when they have powerful modding tools and can mainstream the sharing of mods. :D It seems Stardock is on the right path!
Quoting Autarkhos, reply 2 ...Wow. That's just silly. I was going to make an argument that Fable had plenty of alcohol, sex and violence in it, but it turned out THAT was rated M in America too. The whole ale thing is very abstract, too, how can that count, really? ( It turns out that Empire : Total War, that game where you gun down Native Americans whilst you take over their land in a surge of Imperialism, was
I agree there should be rewards for quests (XP and items!), I really feel that the world is static(another topic for another time) one part that would make it feel more organic is the champions.. I agree that quests should give xp and items, I also like the other ideas, in particular "lwarmonger", this would make the world quite a bit more organic. I also think champions (and sovereign need feats! increase in guildar generation for merchant or more/others which would be cool!) </
Thats pretty weak that they want a teen rating.... very lame.
( It turns out that Empire : Total War, that game where you gun down Native Americans whilst you take over their land in a surge of Imperialism, was rated teen. Americans have funny standards. I'm fairly certain you can do SOMETHING involving alcohol in that game, too. )
I am personally all for having tons of weak, medium, strong and "this-will-rape-a-small-army" monsters around.
Beta 2 was open until beta 2A came (which happened this Thursday), I may be wrong, but I think you will have to wait until Beta 3 is out. Sorry.
Quoting Frogboy, reply 2The world isn't completely free of powerful monsters. Rather, the world is free of powerful monsters right outside your starting base. Funny, just last game i had a CR 80 monster outside my home base. Sounds like an interesting suggestion, it sounds good. :-) You could even make a quest out of it, say an especially vile spider poisons the sovereign and has to go on a journey to get an antidote before he dies. :p
After conducting the research to build Lumber yard , the lumber yard is still grayed out and I am unable to use it even though I have meet all of the prerequisites. I have found a similar topic on Granaries. ... which means that there are other buildings that may do this (I will update this and add them, if someone else doesn't beat me to this. [Update]</s
