There are no marriages, but you can date your companions. Why not date the same sex? I see no negative reason not to. As far as gameplay goes, as a spy, I flirt with every person I need to use. As in real life, if you are not gay or your religion prevents you from being gay, don't be gay. No reason to stop other from doing what they want. I don't think anyone was pressuring MMO's to allow gay equality. I do, however, see there being religious groups putting pressure on this game t

So Thursday is the plan for .87?
Ever play Settlers of Cataan? By that logic you should never trade in that game either, except that trading is often the best way to win. As long as a trade is mutually beneficial, both parties will come closer to winning and thus have an advantage over the rest of the players in the game. Your theory on trading only works in a binary system. Of course you should never trade with a direct rival or a warmonger that has shown his true colors. Trade partners are a good thing if you are o
I would prefer that tactical spells increased in power over time. So, there are 3 fire spells, Fire Dart, Fireball, Firestorm. Each one increases in radius, starting at one tile and going to a radius of 2. Casting time should also be 0,1,2. So now you can chose to wait and take advantage of a battle winning AoE, or fire right away on a specific target. The question to answer is, what are the magical choices in a battle. How should a Magic army fight differently than a Warfare ar
I can't imagine someone that created the wonders of FFH would ever be caught without an intricate and varied event system. It's probably on the back burner, though. The beta is focused on faction differentiation right now. Patience.
I think you should wait until diplomacy is added to the game before making a conclusion. The value of a given resource to the AI will be dependent on an equation that considers the natural worth of a resource and the amount the AI has vs the amount you have. I am guessing that is how it will be set up. Also, different factions already value certain resources more than others.
I am going gay when i renew my subscription for the expansion next year. Really a nice feature to add to character immersion.
The penalty for being caught out of uniform is a worse infraction than the penalty of catching heat stroke. I guess sometimes we are just as dumb as the AI. [e digicons]XD[/e]
But imagine the intrigue we could foster, Lord Xia. I am trying to start WWI a little early in my game.
Just got this game on Friday. It is quite good. I am surprised more Elemental people aren't playing it. Pretty much the most interesting and exact dynastic system in a game. The only downside is that it is too complicated. I must have read a novel worth of forum guides this weekend just to play it. I am finding it quite rewarding though. Anyone here want to do some Co-Op?
[quote who="ddd888" reply="9" id="3110898"]yes but i still dont get it can you think of any real, non flawed, non lame use of a trade ? i just cant figure any at all whatever trade i could do there is ONLY ONE reason and just that to do it: because im getting something i really need and giving away something i dont need or something worth nothing to the player im giving it <br /
I think I will make Materials do more production. That is essentially the problem, Grain is just so much better. That should solve many issues.
There is alot to be done in the XML with trading. Any resource can be traded. So you can make a treaty that gives any one resource for any other. I hope this gets attention by the devs at some point so that we have better trade options than gold for gold.
I see. That was probably just bad luck. The way it is suppose to work is that there are a few easy monsters within 3 tiles of your start. The real baddies start 8 tiles away. Every X number of turns any unclaimed tiles will have a chance to spawn new lairs. I just need to increase the X Value I think. I wish I could set ultimate monsters to block passages so that there are large areas you can't get to until the late game. I will take another look at it today though.
I know what it means... [e digicons]:)[/e]
Oh, meant to respond to you sooner, Poko8, You should probably switch to Normal Monster levels or even Sparse if it is too much for you. I actually want to make them spawn more often and balance that with unit production and low early game wages. Not wanting to make it easier, if anything i will just push them farther from your starting location on dense so you have room to breath. You can spawn a random monster in tactical, but not in strategic. It's a know
Hasta works with the standard game. The ElementalDefs.xml controls monster spawning. Might want to double check that you have mod file removed and the original in the right folder. The intent with Workshop was to entice players to go for a 3/4 or even a 2/4 spot with their cities in order to be able to build it at a reasonable speed. The point is that grain based cities have to wait until the midgame to build it, while a nubile production city
There are two now. One is from a new modder. Looks interesting, but I don't have time to play it right now.
March 22nd or later. You could always check out some balance mods in the FE Modding section if you are tired of .86. [e digicons][/e]
I think injuries are not repeatable.
That is a good point. Production is totally lost if you stop building or training. This needs some elaboration.
Oh, yes, my current mod adds several new items to the shop. Basically every citylevelup building adds something. One of the coolest things is that Archivist adds Books that you can buy to increase hero stats.
I was just pointing out that that is how we are able to trade anywhere within our territory. Traveling Merchants...

I didn't change anything that should affect trees. That would almost certainly be a vanilla bug. My guess is that you loaded a save when this started? Saves sometimes lose data and end up forgetting to add stuff when loaded... like trees.
