I have to assume that quests were basically turned off for beta 2. In the xml it was literally turned off, so it must have been intentional to force testers to look at other aspects of the game. dragon statues only show because they are force spawned as part of the Masterquest. Lairs are not perfect either. They have yet to distribute them well. Mites and Wildings should be the only thing within 4 tiles of your start. From 8 tiles out or more, creatures should be extremely tough. They need to

I don't want monster lairs spawning in my territory. That is not fun. One of the worst things about WoM's strategic level was the need to micromanage my territory for fear of spiderlings destroying resources. It would be better to have lots and lots of dungeons and quests litter the terrain. There should be more stuff to do after Act I, but it should not be a forced management. Quests are the best solution. They keep all the monsters in a neat pile under lock and key. You can choose t

They qualify my definition of art form. Interactive art is the best kind. There was this exhibit in Seattle that changed shape and color based on who was looking at it and what they looked like. Still one of my favorite pieces. But even the qualification of art is extremely subjective. For instance, my friend when to go see the same piece at my behest and was extremely irate. He claimed it was just a shitty mirror. I guess he didn't like what he saw.

I would prefer it if the outlying territory had small towns as part of the ground cover function. This would be double good because adding any more housing to the game needs to be optional for low end computers.

It appears there is something called an Elemental Editor to be released before the game is finished. It seems it will do all the things modders want.

I guess I need to see where the technology is at in a few months. From previous experience, the new Win8 128bit OS will be out as soon as I get it. I made a theoretical PC at that website someone suggested for around 10K. It would be nice if there was a website somewhere that noted in simple terms exactly what is worth putting in a computer and what is useless at this point.

Reminds me alot of the Political Machine. Some players are all or nothing with their point system and others give out points based on a percentage. If FE is a 2 for Mr. Danger, he must be withholding any points until the given area is completed. He also seems to have the common Ci4itis, a disease of the eyes and memory. [e digicons]:P[/e]

But we are all playing on max possible graphics. Fb said this is intended to improve the efficiency of the game, but can be turned down to accommodate less RAM usage. I also think that 8 cores running a multithread game should run much faster as far as turn speed goes. As far as my new PC, the best solution may simply be to recreate Frogboy's PC myself. I had hoped that I could throw money at a company to avoid all the troubleshooting of a new PC. If that is impossible, I&#39

I was thinking 100 area, oops. I may just be tired, but Win7 64bit should be able to run a 100 sector map just fine. 4GB ram and another 2x4GB video with 8 cores should make this game very fast on lowest settings. The version we have right now is on max graphics without a way to tone things down. So at release I should be able to play that size map at a fast pace. I am pretty sure that 64bit will use all 4GB of RAM. You think Alienware is a bad deal? Any suggestions on

Given how much fun I am finding Crusader Kings 2, I would like to eventually see a mod that adds a similar system of city officials, but in FE as a resource. I would like the mind boggling complexity for when the game gets older and there are no more expansions to look forward to. I would like to make additive mods each time I make a mod. That way the game continues to evolve modularly. That is the key to replayability for me. It would also be cool to have traits like we see in

[quote who="UmbralAngel" reply="11" id="3112522"]Is FE really that limited in map size? MoM was ~50x50 but there were 2 worlds, so thats closer to 75x75 total. Only 30% of that was actual land mass, while FE probably has ~75% usable land mass (I consider mountains unusable). I would hope that I could run 100x100 at high settings on a moderate computer. I don't think there will be a difference in a preview now vs. this summer or even fall. The things that need work in the game are only visible with in depth play. A preview shows off the spell effects, art designs, and demonstrates graphics. I don't see many of those things changing, so there is no reason to wait for the preview. I would turn the detail way up thought and use as much ground cover as possible. People will especially want to see the tile art and all the different things

Yes, I have studied some pieces of historical philosophy. It is as subjective as any other cultural affect. The whole concept of Natural Laws is part of the structuralist era long past. We are in a post-structuralist era now. Advances in science and philosophy have proven pretty convincingly that the assumptions of the structuralist are false. There is no innate morality. Each person has their own perspective, a positionality if you will. As to the token Hitler comment
