@DsRaider, Um, cityhubs will change as the city is specialized. Each city will look unique due to city specialization and factions. The only reason to have it is to save the art? A city view screen is a wonderful immersion factor. Having a bustling city is very important to me. I am sure others agree.

Some people are not seeing the new UI or have a different looking UI than what you see in videos and pictures from other users. The reason is that your UI is messed up and needs to have a forced update. To fix this, go to C:/Program Data/Stardock/Elemental-FallenEnchantress/Screens folder. Inside that folder is some UI stuff. Delete it all. Then boot up the game and you will get the new files from the server. This should make things right. Thanks to Cari_Elf and Heavenfall for help.
Spiders should use greatswords IMO.
You do realize that it does get attacked sometimes right? It is just playing that part of the game better because it knows how the monster AI works.
That is the problem though, growing a city past one tile means taking away hundreds of square miles from the game. Why not simply have the city view screen grow the city along the river? Then on the main screen, have the outlying huts grow along the river.
I think it is funny that people complain about bears. One unit of bowmen is usually enough to kill them without ever getting hit. They are intended to force the player to avoid melee. Or just use an Assassin with high dodge. There are so many strategies to avoid bears. If one is getting 5 hits on you, it is a high level bear with high Accuracy. The argument could be made that Maul is overpowered, and it is still a little buggy, but we are supposed to be strategists. So strategize.&nbs
It would be cool if sieges could destroy buildings and leave a fiery effect in the city view screen. Maybe even some rubble! [e digicons]:w00t:[/e]
I'll bet scavengers made a fortune off the Death Stars.
Zephyr is a breeze, but in magical terms it implies floating or levitation. A horse with Horseshoes of the Zephyr is often referred to as a "Zephyr Steed" or merely "Zephyr." It is high magic. Very common in D&D. Sorry, Hf, I couldn't tell if you were joking before. [e digicons]O:)[/e]
One Tile Cities: Portents, Predictions and Perdition In a tiny little review thread Brad let it slip that cities will be moving the direction of the original Civilizations game. One tile cities with a viewing window for all our buildings. This deserves its own thread, where we can make irrelevant predictions and doom or praise the idea in turn. I think the big
Infirmary would be a more logical choice for injury healing. I forgot to put it in my mod, but I will put it on the list for the next update. I already made the potion available from the Apothecary.
It always makes me sad to see that Winnihym can't enjoy the game. You can come over and play sometime. I don't get crashes! [e digicons]:w00t:[/e]
Now that you have that trench dug, might I suggest a French Drain? You could get some good drainage out of this fiasco. Negative becomes a positive.
I can't believe people play PVP with this kind of game. The game mechanics really start to split at the seems when you player against other humans.
Don't forget Boots of the Zephyr: Normal movement on all tiles.
The big difference with FE is that most tiles do not produce anything
Point of fact: Each tile in FE produces materials or grain. There is third element to be added in the upcoming betas. My guess is it's beer, given how heavy the beer theme is in the current beta.
Or you might be able to disable the Settle ability for pioneers, but I think they are unmodable in the game's current state.
I would guess yes, absolutely yes.
Also, the whole thing be for sake of saving RAM.
Monster AI is indeed mysterious. Some attack out of blind aggression, some are extremely cautious or unwilling to move and yet others seem to attack intelligently. I would have to guess that Brad has programmed it that way on purpose.
There is a potion you can get from quests that heals one hero. Of course quests are turned off in .86.
And I can't wait for the Game of Thrones mod to finish.
There has been no indication that this would be anything but a bug. Magic users are not supposed to be penalized for using magic. Only having more heroes should do that under the current design. You should report it and offer up a saved game if you can.
Define sentient.
Also, having a ton piled up affects how much people like you.
