Here's what I do to prevent problems with ObjectDock: First, build your docks. Obvious! Play around, experiment, have fun. Second, SAVE THEM. Right-click on any Dock, select Dock Settings, and go to Themes. Click on "Save Current Dock." This actually saves all active Docks. Choose a name, click Save. That's up to you on the compression, Po'. It'll only smoosh down (technical terminology) the files you don't use a lot, and if you do need to use them, it only takes a couple of milliseconds to uncompress them.
