What I did was reload autosave:) conquer hist last city, attack him on neutral ground and finished him with hurl boulder and stone rain. At this battle he has 'only' 20 DEF.

I' after a few games with 1.08 and can't agree with OP. It was quite easy to get +15G and +15F with about four cities. Even without any resource research. The thing is not to start with tech research to early (maintenance) and getting rid of excessive huts in conquered cities.
I've encountered that kind of behaviour twice. First on tactical battle - one unit was unable to move - needed to auto resolve. 2nd time at strategic. Mu non-auto exploring unit aproached the city but didn't merge with it. When I moved him one tile the turn ended. Another issue was (is?) in auto resolving. When using autoresolve on strategic map and the camera auto focus to next unit, the battle/turn would not end till I move camera over units in battle - usually I max zoom out and th
Turn 150. Yithril has one town and lvl one on all research. I've attacked it's sov at the city influence area. Enemy army - familiar, rock giant and sov. And sov has 53 defence, at about third turn it dropped to 40 but this is still big number. I guess it's impossible to get without some uber legendary equipment or spells.
I also play at normal and got my butt kilked by Klu-Klu-something (bad starting location and food problem). And about goodie huts. They spawning on each other - there are also unpopable huts and quests, nothing happens when sov walk the tile. And sometimes they spawn on resorces. Need to pop before can build on it.
Confirmed. Another annoying things are: * Autofocus while placing the building in cloth map * When chosing the structure at cloth map there is no description (req for building) shown. You have to click another building option and then revert to previous selection. I guess it's for 1.1.
The same with 1.08. If it's a feature it shouldn't be. I thing the children abilities should be random with higher chance to roll 'parent's treats' .

It woud be helpful if the 'trained' icon was different of the 'level up' icon Another thing the Caravan and Pioneer should have different icons. It's easy to miss the creation of that units. Let's say now we have 14 'arrow up' icons instead of 10 'level up', 2'trained' 1'pioneer trained' and 1'caravan trained'

Happend to me twice in 500+ turn game (and didn't happened before). About 6 hours straight play and then 2 OOM errors 'in row'.

MOIISKA: Well. I guessed that stack move is always limited to slowest unit apart of army with 'organized' sovs. I think it suppose to work like that: If there are many 'organized' sovs in stack then the army moves with these sovs highest move points.
* 12 visible rings for stack * merging/dividing stacks on the same tile * one click 'party leave city' option * rework stacking with enemy units and after a teleport I guess that are 'must have' options to implement. As for chosing leader I don't know what is the purpose if this funcionality.

Don't forget about 'random' setting for all sliders. I always play at all random in GalCiv... and it's always something new to explore.
It isn't. I just configured impulse to ask at placing desktop shortcut and at updating I choose not to.
Check tha CPU temperature also. It may product similar effects.
Confirmed. I think the map tries to autofocus after click but the building is being built at mew cursor location. Another thing - green available tiles dissapears while zooming from cloth map. Need to reselect building to get them back.
63 FPS causes tearig? I get 40 FPS at cloth map 25-35 at strategic map 18-20 at max zoom without cloth map (80%) edge scrolling have none or very limited FPS impact. I also see none or very little tearing (with forced v-sync or aplication controlled). Apart of above I find edge scrolling at minimum 100 speed too fast and unprecise, so I stick with left drag. But. After updating to 1.07 I experience CTD crashes with error in ... module info with possibility to send the report to MS. I don't recall having them in previous versions. Scroll with left click drag. It works smooth. Annoyigh thing is that it sometimes make you deselect an unit. It is done the same way like in GalCiv2 but in GalCiv deselection isn't happening that often... or maybe Galciv has a great FIND button that I can always use?:)
better performance but 'not as smooth as it should be':). I thing disabling outlines is a great option. I don't know about performance but it makes the graphics 'clear' and a little brighter.
If you can send a screenshot. If it's a fresh city it doesn't have builded up... In your dropbox save there is nothing but empty Save.tmp folder... weird
