Since no one has explained it yet, details. Taking X3:Reunion's main plot as the starter. You start out a lot like Freelancer, a pilot with a ship. There's new badguys popping up and nuking people out of nowhere, a generic badguy. You go through the missions, trading and blowing up pirates to advance yourself, a lot like Freelancer still. Eventually you win and are left with no more serious badguys to exterminate, still a lot like Freelancer.

I find the thought of "intuitively placed" options to be horrific... If you can't find settings for stuff in XP, you're either retarded or don't give a shit. In either case, you shouldn't be messing with them. Hiding them where a moron with no clue would look just isn't fair to those of us that should be allowed near them.
Check out the X series, it's more of a sandbox than an rpg, but it's one fantastic attempt. Not quite what I'm after myself, but the AI has yet to be written to build an empire from your privateer in the midst of an interstellar war between actual powers instead of just scripted events. If X seems to be your cup of tea, beware. The system makes freelancer look like a joke, which it is in retrospect. I had fun with it, but the game is nothing compared t
Retailers pulling stupid shit is why I don't buy hardly anything from them these days. They're suffering another form of the same idiocy the game industry as a whole is. The retail chains are just steadily getting rid of any reasons to shop at them by making it a waste of time with no advantages, like being able to return software that doesn't work. It's the mentality that lost sales happen in a vacuum and any actions to counter them wont have adverse effects.
Microsoft developer network. Anyone that's willing to pay for one can get a subscription. He's probably getting it on the cheap through degree associated fees. Edit: Ok, leaving and coming back to hit reply was stupid...
Be very careful how you insult your internet connection. Remember, you could always have dial-up, or worse, satellite!
Getting on good terms with your registry is a good idea when you run into a problem like this. :)
I love this, it's hysterical. I'm the nut for not worrying about the trace element plant food being increased to twice or thrice the ice age levels it's been because the only proof it will be good for us is from before life suffered all those ice ages. Ice ages that are, apparently, not indicative that you're all morons for being worried about one of the minor contributors to the green house effect just because the UN has some already proven grossly wrong computer
Hmm ... I still don't recall making any claim to sainthood, nor any claim to absolute certainty on any particular issue. I've granted that there are those that deny global warming is an issue and don't go chasing every last one of them down in an attempt to convince them of the error of their ways. I acknowledge that on any issue you name there will be a wide range of opinion that reasonable people may hold and that someone that doesn't share my viewpoint isn't necessarily a moron or a

Considering the thirteen year olds swear more than I do out of their mother's earshot, I don't cede your justification. Not to mention the ten year olds, and some of the five year olds...
One question. Do you have a life outside of forums
Definition? I'd go for the classical one myself, wife, kids, job, car, house, etcetera. In which case, no. If you're meaning more literal, why yes, yes I do. In fact,
Because you're lazy. Here, I'll be nice one more time. http://www.surfacestations.org/ Did you know it's the first thing that comes up if you google search for surface stations? Weird huh? Yes, only three percent of the surface stations they've surveyed so far have been up to standard. Yes, it's sad. Yes, NASA is indeed run by the same quality of idiots as the rest of the world. Yes, they
Chips or not, referring to chips on ones shoulder. Meaning, one doesn't need a chip on his shoulder to shoot first and ask questions later. If someone breaks into my house at night, they're dead. I don't need to have a grudge against society to kill them. Removing filth from the world is aiding society in its safety at a significantly reduced cost to a trial and incarceration, hardly the result of a grudge. If I were feeling nasty towards my neighbors, I'd let th
What do I care about their prediction? You do see the temperatures right? We've had the last x number of hottest years on record, blah blah blah! Since we started recording them. It would be like saying I'm about to die because I feel tired. Of course I feel tired, normal people are asleep right now. I could be about to die, but looking at the last few hours of my life and measuring my energy as it runs down is irrelevant.
Solam, I recommend This for a $1k 42 inch HD TV. Excellent black levels, 4k gradients, 30k/1 static contrast, 1000000/1 dynamic, a truly beautiful tv, and 10 years of continuous play to reach half intensity. The last guy that came looking for a TV, I sent after one of these. He's extremely happy with his choice. TFL, get your eyes checked. I can see the
Willy wins. Also, shooting first and asking questions later is a good policy depending on the context, chips or not.
I must have missed it, where on that graph are the six days of creation listed? If you can find a more accurate display of the last five thousand years, go for it. I don't give a rats ass who they are. I could make a timeline showing temperatures matched with known circumstances and do it myself, but it's a lot of work. It's an excellent display of certain events in conjunction with the temperature record. It's also a much more expanded time fram
In general I prefer to give folks the benefit of the doubt and wait for concrete evidence of idiocy before jumping all over them. Even then if I become convinced someone really is an idiot my tendency would be to simply ignore them, why would any reasonable person waste their time suffering a fool? It's not like anything you say will change their belief system or dissuade anyone that may be susceptible to their arguments. The end result is merely aggravation, why bother?
It's too bad I wont actually be alive for the next ice age so I can laugh my ass off at all the other dead idiots of our day. Link 1! Link 2! The moron discussion may now return to the piddling time scales that incorrectly infer our insignificant existence as being in control of the climate.
Hmm ... you just totally reversed my opinion of you. I now regret our earlier exchange. Sorry. I'm still not a big fan of abuse and curse words because they pretty much guarantee a less than amicable exchange (take for example our last exchange), however if it was ever deserved, Luckmann's response was it. This doesn't mean that we're suddenly best buds but I at least will keep an open mind. Just keep in mind that I don't assume that I'm al
For those interested in the subject, instead of just mimicking what the television tells them, I recommend http://www.zundelsite.org/ . I defer judgement on either. Intra is within, inter is between. He's pissed at the lack of cooperation within an alliance, so it makes sense. In a more common usage, the internet is the worldwide network between you and everyone else. The intranet is the local network within your site, your printer, modem, any other users, etcetera. Both prefixes would be applicable in this case because the alliance can be looked at as a separate entity inside a system or as a system itself.
Despite my dislike of LOTR and my loathing of catastrophic random events, I find myself wishing there to be a forest of living trees that surprise rapes any army that passes through it...
Better to be reported than given Karma for it.
