The new Tile Yield System makes no sense at all. .....Also I have started multiple games where I am in lush fertile lands with lots of nodes and no yields on any tiles. This is not the graphic bug either, it just won't let you settle. Please revisit this as it makes placing cities less fun.
+1
Probably the only real solution would be to get rid of auto-resolve. Auto-resolve is designed as a simulation of the actual battle. The results, generally are pretty close but there are gaps. I'll ask them about the Dark Wizard thing.
Yeah, I can understand this, I only use it for the small battles that are too bothersome to do. The real joy of this game is to do the big battles manually anyway. [e digicon
Now every time I fight a dark wizard and use autoresolve, I win! The dark wizard is not using his spells in autoresolve anymore. FIX IT!
It seems autoresolve in general is extremely powerful compared to manual battle. By trial and error I have now found that autoresolve will make me win battles I would most definitely loose if I chose manual.
Here is a save (1.29) where the game just locks up, when hitting the turn button, the hourglass shows up an nothing happens. Unable to continue game from this point. http://www.megafileupload.com/en/file/392973/a-EleSav.html
I do not take comments as personally as you do, I only expressed my opinion - although not in a very constructive way I must admit. How about you rather make a reply like this: "Our product is still in development and we hope some of the issues expressed here will be adressed to make this game as good as it can be" Am a big
My verdict: Ripe for abandonment. Still a total lack of immersion. (just read 80% of the posts in this thread to see I am not alone with this) And I fear it will be so at release. I see no difference in this title compared to the last one when i comes to gameplay and immersion. You might have sprused up graphics and added a few variables, but you are still using the same concept, the same engine and above all, the same people. How on earth would the product be a
I have same issues. Windows 7 x64 Intel core i7 2600K 16GB RAM AMD 6990 All graphical settings set to max.
Is there no structure on how to report bugs/errors/crashes? YES THERE IS Just saying you have a problem does nothing to help at all. If all could post their specs and even graphical settings ingame - maybe it could be interpreted as helpful reporting.

Ok, I am on he train...lets see what the fuzz is about ;)
Thank you so much guys. I thought it was just me that had not understood this game. Should have read through this forum before I stupidly bought this game 3 days ago. I had so much confidence in Stardock from before that I thought WoM would have been good now that it has been out for a while. It is simply booooooring. The premise of he game had so much potential But here I stand wih no interest in playing this game ever again. It seems uninspi
