Fix texture issues

These issues have been around since WoM, and they still aren't fixed. Health bars in the tactical view are most commonly affected, but the problem can pop up almost anywhere. Windows XP, Dual Core, Nvidia 260 gtx.

I've noticed that outside of the health bar disappearing bugs that often times health bars don't update and if I don't click on the unit I don't realize that its actually not at 90% health its at 2 health :D

I'm wondering if it's a specific driver / ATI card issue.  I've never seen anything like this and it's going to be something really hard to "fix" since it's some sort of weird hardware specific issue.

I have an ATI card btw. So it may be a specific version of the driver or a tweak that someone's made to the catalyst control center.

Hmm i'm noticing some of these with my nvidia geforce 7300

to be specific i'm running this on my  mac pro quad dual boot running windows 7

The game runs clean on my three laptops - could be a problem with weaker graphics cards ?

edit #3 - ironic that the three laptops have better graphic cards than the computer more expensive than all of them combined - sigh :'(

Well like my original post said, I'm using a Nvidia card.

I've had this issue since WOM. It still pops up in FE.. I just figured there was no point in reporting it since it was ignored in WOM. (although mine tend to be totally scrambled rather than partially)

WinXP

Phenom II X4 945

4GB ram

ATI HD4670 (Brand new drivers from AMD)

Ya its a wide variety of cards that have it.. not just one or 2. So its doubtful its specific to any hardware. Bottom line is the devs design and test on upper tier ATI cards.. and if they can't reproduce it they ignore it.

I understand its hard if not impossible to fix something you can't reproduce.. but this isn't something thats a problem on one or 2 cards. (reminds me of arma 2.. the default video memory setting doesn't work with a wide variety of cards, even though default is supposed to use all the video cards memory. Many cards have to set it to Very high which is 512 mb. Bohemian interactive have continually ignored that bug as well, since I guess they don't use any of the many different cards that have the issue.)

Moral of the story is.. use the video card that the devs use or expect issues these days I guess.

@devs in general not limited to stardock.

Get a wider range of cards to test on instead of everyone in the office using 1 or 2 different cards.
