i agree i love seeing abit of a morality/reputation system possibly unlocking unique spells etc.

Their are some performance issues i will admit they'll fix it.
Must say i enjoy knowing we can cause such massive devastation.
I agree with above Poster. If we have great mechanics and easy moddability we can just add in anything. Plus easy in game editors for races/factions etc. give us alot of variety. Add this up to a large quantity of spells and alot of free reign with modding plus the stardock community. Watch in afew monthes we'll have stargate startrek tolken/lord of the rings everything from sci fi to fantasy probably
Also i'd like to say this to adder. I am sorry if i seemed angry or offensive i just am abit sick with them watering down games *Heroes 5 for example* and ruining my favorite series or new games before they even come out with last minute changes that utterly change the game *such as changing the pacing so much its no longer an epic strategy but a short 30 minute match* Multiplayer i understand using fast pace but for single player i'd perfer to be able to save it and pi
agreed with above post i am not worried at all.
For One We Like long games. Two if you Don't theirs an option called PACING It allows you to speed EVERYTHING up for your personal tastes or slow it down. Three theirs also going to be Modding and Online. If you are not satisfied then we can't please everyone and we're not going to let the game get watered down just because your upset with the pacing.
yeah I agree with most of the above posts. Although i also think that their should be trainable mini champions *low level champions that are built from a special resource* the resource could be some sort of potential or something pooled from each city to allow new champions to be trained from young potentials whom have great inate talent. Kinda like how each academy army base etc. would generate afew points that eventually could be used to train n
Actually its that their's already some struggling settlements in the background stories. But their only alive because of the limited patches of still living fertile ground...Whereas 98% or more of the terrain is barren and has to be healed by a channeler thus preventing civilization from truly returning. Hope that clarifies.
I agree used to play hotseat with my dad when i was young *heroes of might and magic anyone?*
um thanks for the clarification frogboy lol. Still we can create volcanos and raise the dead etc. can we not? i just would like a clarification of the extent of our power in more clear terms if possible. thank you.
I'm glad i'm not the only one with this issue. I don't mind as i understand its Beta and Performance will improve at least 200% by release but still i just wanted to bring it up to ensure it did get addressed. Thank you all by the way for responding sorry i was away and unable to post a response for abit.
Actually we're suppost to be nearly the power of a god *able to terraform land bring life to those whom are dead etc.* so roughly we start as a being like saruman *forget how to spell* a wizard basically and then move up to sauron and as we gain power by the end game in a epic length we may reach demi god level power like that of Sauron+Ring. so essentially quite powerful and life mages can bring back the dead etc. death mages necromacy and dark arts etc. so in some way
I apologize but i don't know where to post this. Anyone else notice a performance drop with the new update? the last one ran alright..but Elemental seems to strain my graphic's card *it begins to heat up quite abit* and this has been an issue since i first got beta 1.b seems abit odd to me given that i have a nvidia geforce GTS 250 graphics card dell inspirion 530 series computer 2.66 GHZ and 4 gigs ram. vist
Awesome...I'm glad to see the games going so far along and so well.
agreed with Tasunke. Although i think some lair's should be special and only generated by chance. like very unique lairs of special monsters that trigger quests or special events etc.
Same we should be able to forge new items and through magic or essence create magical imbuned artifact style items.
No. They are implementing alot from the beta yes but they are NOT copying anyone else. Stardock has been using this same or a similar beta process for several years now.
adventuring exploring and magic are what i use him for. more of a Sage path of play a wanderer whom also has great arcane power and eventually comes to his cities to build up great artifacts/cast great magic is more or less the sov for me i like to use children and npc's to be generals and govenor's while the Sov is the great magical authority.
I utterly agree with the journal. Console gaming nearly destroyed fantasy rpgs and strategy.. And i love the direction elemental is heading sure i had my disagreements with the economics etc. but overall its Great. and i love how your implementing NPC's to recruite and the whole thing of it being about you in general Elemental appeals in a way no game has in along time to me. So thank you for the wonderful concept andfor all
I support the idea of living dynamic lairs. I believe it would add greatly to the games content particularly if they could if left alone pose a threat it encourages the sovereigns to explore and destroy monsterous threats before they grow too large. *Can see a fantasy movie like event where orcs or monsterous creatures in the east or north amass large hordes and begin to assasult the civilized peoples causing them to allie together to stop the threat* Yep sounds good to me. Al
It should be something that's optional. And you should only be able to trade a tech once every oh so many turns *1 per turn or less ex. 1 per 3 turns or something* That way its still fair and also more realistic in that no one can trade an immense amount of tech in one year or one week or whatever as it is theoretically impossible to give too much to someone too quickly.
Honestly Religion in this would be based around the Sov you'd think since he/she is the giver/bringer of life and an all powerful mage *to the peasants anyway* so i intend to at the very least R.P that my Sov is the god of my people *God Emperor*
Yeah the tweaking of equipment is for after we have the game stable enough to even play through on the majority of peoples computers. At least thats my assumption.
