As for the monsters attacking each other, so what I did is that IF they're monsters of a different type, they'll be randomly inclined to attack one another based on the intelligence of the species (higher level ones are not inclined to attack other creatures unless it's part of its other objectives such as leveling up o

In the private build, they're already riding Wargs. It's about the AI, man. People poo poo this stuff but it matters. Can't put this stuff out there without at least basic AI knowledge or it might as well be a tech demo. Sucky AI

But it's not so fun when it happens to you. I mean, good grief guys, we had people screaming because there were tough creatures spawning in their starting locations and those creatures don't even target anyone in particular yet. It would be a riot if

If a battle started and you were RIGHT NEXT to one particpant, you'd join in. Battles were autodone and thus happened in a second, which kinda sucked for team battles. Cities were easier - you could put your units into allied cities (to attack, you'd have to take the center of the city, while the 'outskirts' were free for you, or

As long as there's enough opportunity for beneficial unit control (meaning, not just charge the enemy head on), it should be good. I too am very interested in this. 2-3 minute tactical battles would make sense for multi-player, b

Well I applaud you for not making the Tactical Battles RTS there are too many RTS games in the market as is. I do have a question, Can we set the Tactical combat to always start no matter how many units are particapating. For me one of the funnest elements of the game is the tactical combat as it was for all the AOW and MOM. Without this I would probably just stick to CIV. And please allows us to scale the lenth of the tactical combat (put a setting that says 'It's over when it

Now as long as I can add more races to the existing one then it won't be too bad. Don't tell that to George R. R. Look it is clear that his statment is based on what we have seen happen over the years in TBS as well as others. You have TBS games that are released with a campaign that usally is not very good but the Sandbox maps are great. Hence the reason that most people I know and have talked to over the years don't bother with the campaign. Now if Brad can pull of a fun campaign while still keeping a good Sandbox element to the game then this will indeed be a truly unique and fun game.</p

A manual should have all the information on how to play the game like what each stat does and how it relates to the unit and game. What the different symbols mean. The advantages and disadvantages of the terrain features. How to create tiles and use them. City management section and all the ins and out of building up a city and what each improvement does. Etc. Yes I fail to see how it would be difficult to put in Hot seat. Just look at AGe of Wonders. WE are not talking about some damn console split screen thing. Be sides Hot Seat also allows us to play multipule empires at once which I do a lot in TBG that allow hotseat. Yes multipul instalations at home is fine but some of us only have one PC.

Hot seat is a must. I still have hours of fun with Friends playing Hot seat Age of Wonders Shadow magic and Civ. And we just turn away from the screen when someone has to do some diplomancy. Usally we send threats to each other and just have a blast. So Yes please have hotseat in this game I mean after all it is a Turn-based game why wouldn't you have it?
