Does anyone know what system font is used by Thunderbird for displaying Folders. Lately there are a lot of good looking WBs that I can't use because they alter that font and I get like 6 point font for folders unless there are unread messages when I get like 14 point bold font, causing overlap. If I knew which template it uses I could alter them in Skin Studio. I have tried playing around but feel like I am going to mess things up. Could this be re

That is only true if you assume that year 2000 was the 1st year of the decade. Because there was no 0 AD the first year was 1 AD so from 1/1/0001 to 12/31/0001 was the 1st year. That means that the 10th year did not end until 12/31/0010. Two thousand years later the decade will end on 12/31/2010. Further to claim there was a 0 AD it must also follow that there was a 0 BC. The calendar would have looked like ... -3, -2, -1, 0, 0, 1, 2, 3 ... which we all know is folly. To embrace 12/3

Just thought I'd launch this to see what some of the gripes and grins are regarding current WB trends. 1) Gripe - One trend I see is a move toward transparency w/o much differentiation between active and inactive windows. To me, this leads to a very confusing desktop. Frequently, I have 6-8 windows visible and trying to find the minimize button amidst all those very similar frames can be difficult and I frequently end up minimizing or closing a window by mistake. <b

Zubaz- I'm not following you. Where does one get the OD VD plug in? and how do RC and CC play into the scheme of things? I don' use CC and I can't find a RC plug in, either. I apologize for being so thick, but VD has frustrated me ever since I started using it. It seems it's just one little thing after another.

I'm with you, buddy. Never have been able to move the VD off the task bar. Locked, unlocked, on top of all, auto hide, no desktop image, Tried it all. I get the little rectangle until I get to the desktop, then it turns into the "no,no,no, you can't do that" symbol. Big shortcoming with Object Dock, no VD connector like in Object Bar.

The truly unique thing I really like is that it adjusts volume independently from the WinXP system. You can lower your mp3's to background music level while keeping the volume of other apps high. it's skinnable but, sadly, not too much interest out there. Version 0.8.6e now.

I told you I felt foolish asking. I was using the Xelibri 7 WB and those up/down arrows disappear. Switched skins and, voila, "Here we are." Thanks.

I feel real fooloish even asking this Q, but I created a tabbed dock and for the life of me I can't figure out how to move tabs so they appear in the order I want. I've tried Drag and Drop, D/D with cntrl, D/D with Alt, D/D with Shift (with the tab locked and unlocked). I have gone into the tab settings dialog and can see the tab order and the 2 add/remove buttons, but no up/down move buttons. D/D doesn't seem to work, either. I have even looked in the .ini and decided t

It was opening the mainbar.obbar Once I did that, with all the other bars already open from running the .obtheme file, selecting the popup links on the main bar reattached the related bars as a menu popups rather than independent bars. Thanks a gazillion all. I really didn't want to rebuild from scratch. Snap

OK, I got the main bar back. Thanks. I also got the popups reattached, but Save As does not save the theme, just the skins. If I make a copy of the theme folder, can I reuse it if a Save screws up the original theme or is there something else stashed somewhere else I need to copy, too?

I learned to save after every little change. It was saved numerous times with the main bar, I found the .obtheme file, but the bar doesn't seem to be in there. All the popups now open as individual bars, not as popup menus. If I go into the bars menu they all show up there. p.s. What utility is that?

OB had a system error and had to shutdown recently. When I rebooted and tried to open the OB I got all my popups as independent bars, but lost the main dock bar. Is there a way to retrieve it, import the independent bars to a new dock bar, or is my theme irrevocably trashed?

Thanks for the link. I searched all over Stardock Developers Guide and could not find that link. The closest I seemed to be able to get was: SD Link and it really didn't help much. Now I see more detailed links under the Resources tab.
