You missed the bit about true strike ignoring defense.
Is it possible to create stationary summons that can't move? Like you could summon a tree of life that couldn't move but would heal your units in tactical battles.

I would really really like to be able to have much larger tactical battles... Also i hate the army limit idea. Maybe make it so that large armies get some penalties without the right technology but we should still be able to throw a massive rabble at the enemy.
This is a good point. If the goal is to make few but unique and interesting cities then trophies should be something that is valuable in boosting and specializing an existing city. Also it only makes sense that you would get more benefit from it if more people can see (/use?) it!
In any case... If they have been surviving in the wild they ought to have some way of.. Well... Surviving in the wild. Either strong enough to resist most bands of creatures or men that would want to kill them or stealthy enough to avoid them. I mean it doesn't make sense that they would survive the cataclysm and the decades of chaos that followed and then get killed before a couple years had gone by...
Getting the dying heroes problem solved seems like a big issue to me...
What is the point of the army size limit anyway? :P

I definitely agree that the armor piercing bonus should be moved to blunt weapons as historically that's what they were used for.
No she has warrior, defender, and assassin... Impressive for a level 4 (!) but also odd for Ceresa...
I think the critical thing we need to have unit desing more interesting and the possibility of balance is more interaction between the choices. (eg heavy armor makes it really hard to use a bow effectively). Traits unlocked by weapons/armor would be one way to do that therefore I support this.
I think all of the death worshiping spells are OP. And with corruption they have way too much synergy. Anyway all AOE is OP right now...
Personally I think this game would have been better without research at all and focus all that on city/hero/magic development. But it's here now.
