I've shelved both Elemental and Civ V for now... Civ V was much more pleasant to play than Elemental but some graphics glitches halfway through my games make it un-playable. I am now getting into RUSE, which I am very impressed with and back into Demi(bug)god/ and Warband...

I am also running dual monitors, in Vista 64, and I can load the game but it comes up in windowed mode with no text, the mouse curser seems to be off center also.
Seems that everytime the sovereign visits the starting city a new icon is created for him.
Jing minimizes Elemental and causes it to freeze... how are people making screenshots of graphics bugs and submiting them.
maybe try doing city improvements akin to the Total War series? you buy the capability for the city and the population adjusts itself according to governing selections.. tax rates, troops in town, etc..
