Confirmed for me too. But yeah, combat is currently almost impossible, and very annoying trying to take out spiders/trolls that keep attacking caravans.

Was at the research screen to change research. Upon returning to the cloth map, it lost everything and went blank. Was unable to get a screenshot this time, since I had to alt-tab to take care of a screenshot from a previous issue. Upon returning from alt-tab, got the black screen. http://pastebin.com/f63421a29

Same here, built a lumber yard, and kingdom palace, still had 3 spots open but could not build anyting else. Tried demolishing the 2 buildings, and could still build nothing else, so ended up with my first city having no buildings. It also showed a max population of 30, with current population at 31. http://pastebin.com/f63421a29
Well, look at the troll in the background. I'm pretty sure at least that one shouldn't be there.
Heh, hadn't even noticed the troll out there walking on water, in that case, I'll rename the subject of the post.

I've had this happen a couple of times too. I submitted a FogBugz crash report for this. Happened once right after clicking the turn button, happened a second time while placing a building. Only way to stop it was to ctrl-ald-del and end task it. A crashdump file was created after the endtask. You should probably post your debug.err file, can't really see much about the cause from dxdiag info.

I am having the same problem. So far I've been able to work around this by changing the skipintro setting in the prefs.ini file from =0 to =1, which as it states, skips the intro and goes directly to the main menu. So far, no further crashes after the loading screen.

I'm having the same issue, tried deleting the screens folder as suggested, but still crashing to desktop from the splash screen. Also submitted to Fogbugz. EDIT: Re-installed video card drivers, game is running again. EDIT 2: Never mind, got through 1 game, now back to crashing at splash screen. EDIT 3: Seem to have found a work-around. Set the skip intro to 1 in the prefs.ini file, now the intro is skipped, and so far no more

Both issues appear to be fixed after the patch. I changed mipmaps back to default, and increased my resolution, and neither the lines, nor the artifacts are showing up on my x1900. I will also verify this on my x1600 as well. UPDATE: Confirmed, fixed the graphics glitches on both of my ATI graphics cards!

Just had this bug happen myself, and could not get it to stop scrolling. I will try to reproduce the problem as you describe CodeCritter. Debugg.err here: http://pastebin.com/f1885ddfd EDIT: Could not duplicate using the methods described. Moving the curser to the edge, with the middle button down, did not cause the screen to start scrolling. EDIT 2: Still haven't been able to duplicate in Elemental..but strang

Yes, the artifacts stay fixed on the screen as I move the screen/camera around.

Mip map to 1 fixed the lines for me, but the other artifacts required me to set resolution to 1024x768, both issues were present only on my ATI video cards. You can see my post here: https://forums.elementalgame.com/364380

Setting the resolution to 1024x768 on both of my ATI graphics machines fixes the graphics glitches. At any other resolution, I get the artifacts.

I've seen this happen as well. Usually I see it when my sovereign is killed in a battle. He will show up in the casualties tab, but nothing shows up in the results tab.

I have the same issue on my laptop which is using an ATI x1600. I'll already tried setting the mipmap levels to 1 on both machines which seems to have fixed the tiling, have not tried using a lower resolution yet.
