Situation: moving the mouse over the map, included unexplored parts of the map. Excepted results: popup window with information about the already revealed cities, heroes, resources... but not of those that hasn't been revelead yet. What really happens: See pics. <img src="http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y26/Utaku_Areka/Elemental/Elemental_126720388
They can Die. They are biologically immortal, meaning that they can never die from disease or Aging (time, virus's, bacteria, faulty genetics) However, they can still be killed in Murder or Combat.
They can die of old age. They just live so looooooong that for the time scope of the game, it's like if they didn't. That was the last that Frogboy said about the topic.
Situation: normal game. Attacking one enemy city that was defended. I conquered the city. The fight that turn was against an spider. With the popus of different things I'm not sure if the spider was the defender or appeared from somewhere nearby. Problem: I took control of Procipinee permanently (wouldn't obey my movement commands though). So I see Procipinee's city: <img src="http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y26/Utaku_Areka/Elemental/Elemental_1267204939.png" alt
This is like to watch the first seasons of Sliders.
Beta 1G was released yesterday. Newest preorders of the game should get access next week (Thursday aprox).
Great. I preordered this today because Bluesnews stated that those who preordered it would have access to the Beta. uggghhhhh.
Which is true. But people/sites tend to forget to mention that it's not automatic. (or Stardock forgets to mention it?)
Didn't you hear of Limbo of the Lost? Things like that happens when some people don't pay attention :P
I decided to take up on the offer about emailing GPG at about Chris Taylor saying he wanted to move his company towards the Steam platform.
At least it's not Ubisoft? The only game that I'd consider to buy in Steam would be Alpha Protocol (if Sega goes as usual).

Lucky you for not caring of what I think, I guess. ;) Jeez, people really hates me when I disagree with them.[e digicons][/e]
Beta today?? Can we play the beta without internet access?
No. When the beta loads it checks for updating files or something like that. Once it has loaded it doesn't need internet though.
Saving to the cloud would indeed be a great option, as long as it is that, an option.
Yes. There are many reasons why someone could not want to save in the cloud (ask some people about their Steam Torchlight game suddenly getting the cloud thing).
I'm still a wee bit undecided on in-world-context jokes.... depends on the setting, I think: it's one thing for the thugs sitting around a campfire to start a humorous drinking song or two, and quite another for the two soverigns slinging (non-electric) lightening at one another to start cracking puns. Anything that actually breaks the world of the game, though, is definately not on my "include" list.
You wouldn't ask Spiderman to be

" Quote No, when you preorder a game it is a right, you have invested and put faith into a game, and deserve some respect. Otherwise, you just go and revoke the preorder and wait till reviews come. Having people wait around till mid march isn't right. We have our own feedback that we could add into the game to make
I'm a certified silly. Therefore: silly powah!!! Real world is full of silly things in the most serious ones. So as long as it's not unrelated, I welcome it.

More randomness means less balance. Less balance leads to less fun. Underdoses are as bad as overdoses. What keeps us driving to live is the survival instinct. The fact that some societies can afford some of their citizens to have spare time to think about other things than just survival doesn't deny that. And there is no randomness, just ignorance about the variables, factors, interactions... Unlike life, you can learn all about a game and predict it, going from randomne

Do we really need various threads about Ubisoft? Anyway, on topic: Go EA, go! :P
