Out of curiosity, I made this little test mod for dual wielding. It's based in adding a couple of long swords to the Sovereign creation screen. One of them is for the right hand and is considered weapon. The second goes in the left hand and is considered defense (it adds to the attack though). The blades are not balanced as it was not the purpose of the test, the same as having a defense item (even if shaped as sword... and that gives attack score) in an XML about Weapons. :P
Read the link. DoW 2's developers were the ones who said they were following Blizzard on this. It seems fairly likely that they have some idea of what they're talking about.
I suppose that you really mean when Relic had planned campaigns for Orks and Eldars. But thso campaigns were moved from release to some kind of (free?) DCL to finally... not being done?

Likewise, if you measure your happiness in actions per minute, why belittle those of differing opinions?
What I find funny was all the bashing (from some people) to DoW 2 for not being a DoW with improved graphics and daring to try something new in gameplay.
Steamworks means that the game, even if it's released in physical, requires you to be connected constantly to Steam to be able to play. Just that.

Luckmann has downloaded all of them, and decides he doesn't like the names. He takes it upon himself to change the names of buildings, adds some cheesy particle effects and repacks them into "Luckmann's Uber Construction Pack", doesn't give any credit to Wintersong, then wins one of these contest. I'm not a modder myself, but if modding is such a huge part of the game... every month select 2-3 mods, let the community vote for one, stardock decides another, if yours is good enough then a 25 buck giftcard is in order. It's not about creating an incentive, though. It's showing that you appreciate the modders.
If its really about appreciating modders, relase more stuff. :P

Bordering dangerously the off-topic: FX Interactive sells/publishes games at 20€*, or 10€** if they are "Gold" line. Sometimes the games aren't very "new" (King's Bounty expansion was launched here a few months ago), but for 20€ you get the original game, translated to some degree (which many times includes voices and not just the manual and the texts in game), and some even include nice manuals and maps (all what a normal PC game box allow). Sacred? 20€. Drakensan

Thalans came to Gal Civ II from another. https://www.galciv.wikia.com/wiki/Thalan_Empire "But recent discoveries have discerned more of why the Thalan are here in this time period. Apparently Thalans come from a seperate universe that is more chronologically advanced then ours. It is in this para
