Water = healing and movement. If there was some kind of spy/courtier system, Air could be used to help to spy (nothing like to be able to hear what others whisper and such). Earth would be defense related as fire would be offense related. Life would be the one who binds them together to create whatever your power allows you to try. Just semi-random thoughts, don't mind me. *misses Void as Element instead of Life*

Then the angry monkeys yell at the developers about how things are broken and they get fixed. The end result is hopefully a good game. Also bananas.
Not forgetting the long arguments about what the monkeys think that is broken and the devs don't agree with. Also, bananas are in the collector's edition.

Forget the beta. I want more updates in the journals, more pics, more bling!! (whatever bling means) [e digicons]:pout:[/e] I need to find easy ways to distract myself from work. [e digicons]^_^'[/e] Also, betas are NOT to have fun. If you can have fun along the way, good for you. But betas have another priorities. It's not like you will be playing an unbugged, finished, polished game after all...

Nezumi or Skaven, rats would be a nice addition. We get 12 "human races" to play but i hope that Stardock will be nice enough to give us some extra parts to create non-humans whithin the game once it's released. Many people will want to create their own elves, dwarves, orcs,... as soon as they get their (virtual) hands on the game.

At the simplest settings, a player would delegate a very large number of decisions to ministers, officers, courtiers, etc., each of whose basic settings are fairly concise and easy to change. But each of those player-side agents would be running decision trees that also had UIs that a diff

I know it's fine to people say what they think about what they would like to see in the game and/or what they think would improve the game (not just for them, obviously). And altough i understand that Stardock benefits greatly from such input, even if they have to discard most, i feel that sometimes some of those suggestions feel too big (and some ignore that game has other parts that should receive attention too). Innecesarily big. I don't mind those suggestions, of course. But it wo

People has lots of ideas. Some i can agree with, others not. Some want things quite simple and not very detailed. Others could write a whole new Bible just with the things they want and how they think they must be (right or wrong that's not the matter). And very often, i can read things in the spirit of "it's not so difficult to implement". Ok, yeah, whatever. Don't take me wrong, ok? But i have a hard time understand why that desire to have the game super rea

If my tiger mount ( [e digicons]:P[/e] ) loses his raider and he is alowed to continue fighting, then i shouldn't lose that mount. Yes, i would still need a rider so it would be a matter of... what? Send the tiger back home? Pick up the nearest farmer and use it as rider? We could say that if the rider is lost, the mount can fight (with penalties if you want) but is lost at the end of the battle. Which sounds lame to me even if it's easier that the previous option i mentioned. If

Whenever i read about "Bear Cavalry" i think of "Beer Cavalry". [e digicons]8|[/e] Being a game i don't mind bending our reality to give us things like Bee... Bear Cavalry. And i would only ask for: different visuals (looks are not the same as a horses); different stats for the unit (more strength than horses for example); different grow ratio (i don't think that bears have the same birth ratio as horses); and maybe some side effects (like they are worse during winter unless magically

As far as my memory serves, hotseat means two or more players using the same computer in a not online game. They could battle themselves or fight against each other (or suffer the usual friend that finds amusing to betray you in the worst possible moment...), but all the game would happen in one computer. I suppose that Starcok's priorities are SP and MP, but it would be nice if they could devote some time for hotseat as long as pigeonpigeon conditions weren't meet.

I have tried to find this but: a- there is nothing about it. or b- i'm blind (or need to put on the glasses). In which case i would like a link and/or quote. Ok, so there is multiplayer. So maybe some kind of PBEM (spelling?). What about Hotseat? Not sure about how does the battle exactly work so not sure if it could be possible afar from "auto-resolve" realm. I still remember fondly the times when i could play Lords of the Realms or Heroes of Might and Ma

But we are looking to have a private Beta 0 or pre-beta or late alpha or something available before the beta program begins that will largely go to users with high karma / have GalCiv II / Sins / Demigod so that we can make sure the first beta works. There's a lot of new tech going into this that we will need some outside testing with.
