But we are looking to have a private Beta 0 or pre-beta or late alpha or something available before the beta program begins that will largely go to users with high karma / have GalCiv II / Sins / Demigod so that we can make sure the first beta works. There's a lot of new tech going into this that we will need some outside testing with.
Dear Luckmann, you choice of colors makes me cry blood tears. Please, refrain from using some of them, like green, so i can read what you write. Also, red and green? Some people cannot distinguish them, defeating the purpose of using colors. Thank you and have a good day. [e digicons]:P[/e]

I think that he just fears that one element of the game will be decided just because of some loud people. Not per se bad (the decission of that game element, i mean), but a problem if that element is not truly good for the game. The spirit of the first post is good but not having heard from Stardock about it, not sure there should be too much to worry about bear cavalry, frog cavalry or pokemons. They will decide if bear cavalry must be in the game if it truly means something for the game. If

Ok, non-magical earthly "chocobo" alternative: http://somoche.vtrbandaancha.net/Bernardita/Logo/avestruz.jpg Appart from the earthly horses, we can only hope for giant versions of other animals if we want different mounts that have different roles. (why should i want an equivalent to the horse? I prefer to have other animal that can have a different role, be it a "tank", scout...) -Horses: i ca

When galciv 2 came out I bought digital download + box, and I have still never opened the box. It's packed away somewhere in storage still in the plastic wrap. Since then every time I've bought a game online I've gone for the digital download only. And with Impulse I don't feel like I'm just being allowed to borrow it. I feel like I own it, but the installation files are being saf
Thankfully, the Pink Space Ponies "thing" from Sins of a Solar Empire hasn't carried over to Elemental. However, as I've been reading through the forums, I see more and more references to bear cavalry (and not just from one person). So, at least for now it seems like the Bear Cavalry is the new, official mascot of Elemental. Granted, the Beta hasn't even begun yet, but that's only a matter of time. Growl? Although i can understand the feeling of "Don't screw SP in the name of MP", i think that Stardock doesn't intend that. In any case, Stardock needs to add multiplayer to this game to create all the needed infraestructure and stuff needed to add multiplyer for later games (like Gal Civ 3 or Society). It's true that multiplayer can affect depth of a game (in the sense of tons of units, mechanics...) but in this case, i don't think it will happen as such considering the modding nature of the gam

The enemy kingdom/empire that just lost his channeler should, depending of the conditions of the current game: -Remain neutral. They don't expand but continue building their armies and cities. They have lost their leader but they won't bow down to anyone else and will defend what it's theirs. -Surrender to the enemy that defeat their channeler. If the other channeler could kill theirs, maybe they will be safer with him, right? -Join another kingdom/empire different fro
