At the moment, you can cap improvements away from your city hub with the following rule : as many tiles as the city level. City level 5 ? You can cap improvements 5 tiles away.

It isn't implemented yet.
A bit of maths. For level 5 we need 1000 citizens. Appartments provides 160 in 4 tiles : 40 citizens per tile (house provide 30 per tile) 1000 / 40 = 25. But appartments need 4 tiles. So you need to use 6 appartments and 2 houses = 26 tiles We need 26 tiles to let a city get to level 5. And that's with the best housing possible (at the moment). Isn't 26 tiles a bit too much ? One more problem : how will we be able to create an army of 10 000 men from a
To train faster you need barracks. Armories will speed up the process in creating the equipment needed. If you create a swordmen, the game calculate that you need to : forge the sword, the armor and then train the peasant. All of that take time. And resources. If you have the resources, the forge and barracks you will speed things up.
You can see that my little town can't build the farm. Now that we can cap improvements out of town, it seems that when a city grows, it keep the future tiles for it. If a tile is empty, another city should be able to build on it.
When I build a city with a farm and several houses, the report says that I get gold from buildings. Is it working as intended ?
I was unable to reproduce that. Can you give us exact steps to try to get the same bug ?
Did you try to get rid of the my documents/elemental folder ?
Ok, I got that one ! The first city has an upkeep of 1, the second an upkeep of 2, the third an upkeep of 3. So the total upkeep should be : 1+2+3+4+... But ! 1 city -> 1 upkeep 2 cities --> 2 upkeep 3 cities --> 6 upkeep 4 cities --> 24 upkeep 5 cities --> 120 upkeep. Do you see what happenned ? Someone need to sleep, cause "+" and "*" aren't the same operation ;) Instead of adding the upkeeps, the
Wow.. old bug O_o Maybe the first one.
Use the "raise land" spell ;)
There is already a random element : the color of techs. Red techs have less chance to appear on breakthrough. Yellow ones, will almost surely appear. Green ones will appear. When you see them in the research screen it just shows what you "might" get when you reach a breakthrough. The more level on the path, the more chance a tech will become of the better color (red --> yellow --> green)
After a battle results (I won) my peasants were shown with the same attack value as the roll. And the roll was really high for peasants with only 4 points in attack. Maybe that comes from my profession "assassin". But shouldn't only be in combat with my sovereign ? EDIT: In fact, units in a city get +16 attack and def*16. <img src="http://content.screencast.com/users/vieuxchat/folders/Jing/media/1ae7aef3-d662-48b6-a840-cbaee5cf73b8/2010-03-05_0838.png" alt="" width="667" heigh
To purchase you only need spell points. Requirements are for casting the spell.
Maybe they are uploading the 0.295 version, and when it will be finished you'll be able to see it.
