Hello. I pre ordered elemental a long time ago and was greatly disappointed by the end product, I actually have been back to these forums for a long time. Now, however, it looks like fallen enchantress is about to be what elemental should have been. I remember reading that those of us who pre ordered elemental will get FA for free, is that true? And if yes how do I get it? Thanks in advance! Warder
Very good :) hope to see them in game Warder

I'm not sure if it is over priced, Sure I would love to get the 64G Wi-Fi 3G model for 499 but when you think about all the tings that you can do with it that in the past you could do with separate devices... Foe example, you no longer need a portable DvD player, no need for a portable gaming consule, if you are a student no need to buy and carry 600$ worth of books each year (mind you that probably won't happen until next year at the soonest), also for students, there are alreasy iPh
@ DeCypher00 mate I don't know if you ever used a tablet PC, I have and the experiance was less than satisfactory.
I just want to say that IMHO unlike what most people say right now the iPad can and will be a content making as well as a content consuming device. I have a friend who is an animation stident and he likes to go sit at pubs and sketch people things like Sketchbook Pro would fall right at his corner, not to mention that apps like Dragon
I want to know when the ipad version of elemental will be out, civ allready got a game on the app store. Warder
Thanks for the post Anthony. I have three points though, first one is to make houses techs restricted to certain tiers of cities development, for example an outpost couldn't build better housing than huts, they still get auto upgraded when you upggrade the city to the next level. Second point is that building such as schools and such should have a minimal number of citizens needed for them to be 100% operational, so an outpost with 8 schools will not be worth mu
I think that charming monsters should have a short duration related to the strength of the spell, I'm assuming that the strength of a spell is related to it's mana costs so a higher strength spell will cost more mana. Another option is to make charmed monsters a reasource drain on your ecconomy, they will require food and other things, that resource drain could be reduced with reaserch and special buildings. For example if you charmed a wolf, you will get the option to reaserc
I figured it might be the case.... but how cool that would be? Warder
Hello Now the the iPad is here, i remembered that back in the days when a cloth map beta seems like the greatest invention since wemen and sliced bread Frogboy mentioned that Elemental would be able to be played on netbooks and crapy computers. What are the chances to get an iPad version? Honestly, I'm thinking about buying a new laptop since my current one is 5 years old and been though some tough situations and i'm thinking about buying an iPad when it be out next ju
Hi guys. Are we going to see this improvments in the next build? Warder

My main question is, are you asking for quests that the player gets or quests that the player can give? and before that a quick question regarding Heroes, how exactly are they going to play? are we talking about mini-sov chars? are buffed up mundan troops? And if we do get a quest can we send our heroes to do it? or "hire" a group of heroes to finish it? ("I desire that you will find me the Orb of Wasawasa, I will reward you handsomly if you succeed", that how my first D&D game st
I second that one. Warder
I think that we are looking at this in the wrong prespective, instead of having unloackable techs in the pregenerated tech tree we should link this kind of things to the all questing and adventuring system. In this way we a. randomize this techs so when you start a new game you don't have a recipe to unlock them and b. add let the player get techs outside of the reaserch mechanism. If you don't like just handing the techs after compleating the quests than just unlock it in the reaserc
I like my fantasy were there is no hope, you know the grim a dirty kind where evil always win because good guys are dumb, but that is just me [e digicons]}:)[/e] . Tbh, I like the kind of games bleebla describe in RPG and quest like things (Dragon Age for example), yeah I love the wonder of exploring in a 4x but I'm more into building a nation than any thing else. I don't think that this should be the focus of the game but it's another layer of empire building that could be cool. Warder
Hello I really like the 4 different forms of governments in GC2 and for those of you who know EU3 I really like the form of governments in that one also. That got me thinking about Elemental, right now we are looking at a ruling system that is based on a dictatorship of the channeler and that is it, but as we all know different forms of governments are suited to different situations. Within the limits of the g
Yay Channaler: Origins! Cool stuff, alot of folks allready brought some great Ideas so I'll just add some random thoughts. 1. each channaler attributes should be basically the same with 5 points to be added by the player. 2. When a channeler level up the player will have the option to asign the new points or the atributes that the player added points to them will go up. 3. most (like 90%) of the channaler customization should be wi
