[quote who="Kongdej" reply="4" id="3138025"] Quoting Derek Paxton, reply 2 I'm wondering if you are accidentally canceling the cast by right clicking the target. The next patch will provide a warning if you right click (which typically cancels the spell) to keep players from accidentally doing it on ones with a casting time. You are right... EXCEPT I had all my 8 mana blast cancelled when the enemy countered 1 of them, so something is amiss....

Ah yes I see what you mean, thanks for the reply Derek. So it is by design that while casting a unit can become "active" again? I suppose that allows some flexibility if battle conditions change and you want to move or something instead of cast the spell. I don't recall one of my units ever becoming active while preparing to cast fireball for instance, but perhaps it was just because their initiative was so high?
Unable to cast either after earning them with quest. No matter what the conditions, always says spell interrupted. Same thing happens with "dragon kill" spell given during a different quest. The mana blast bug is very annoying and game breaking since I can no longer auto play any of the tedious tactical battles since the a.i tries to cast it constantly just to fail and waste my mana.
This has been a excellent thread, hopefully it is updated/corrected for the new build as it sounds like a ton of changes are coming down the pipe.
RDP access is the only feature of XP/Vista/7 home that was missing that I always needed. Hopefully they will allow it in 8, but I doubt it.
Yeah, unfortunately while a good idea, is not going to work, ISP's and hosting providers in the U.S are required to provide logs of user activity, I can't see how this service would survive a legal battle. It is really no different than the myriad of VPN services you can subscribe to today, pretty much all of which (at least the U.S ones) actually do log and turn over logs on demand to the authorities.
lol

Was actually hoping it was going to be droid, Xbox would be probably the easier transition code wise, but from some of the other content looks like apple maybe.... My phone has a 1 Ghz dual core processor, and it's "out of date", we're not that far from having a device that fits in our pocket that has the power to run a modern PC game.
Majesty, that was a fun one. Though insanely frustrating at times due to the designed lack of unit control. I like the slums idea.
Can't say I would agree. Moving units in and out of cities is already a pain via the current interface, the less of that I have to do the better.
Wow, looks pretty good, loved the original.
The multi-turn mechanic is required to allow for the counter spell mechanic, and i suppose to allow high movement/initiative units to whack the spell caster prior to finishing their spell as some sort of anti magic balancer. I prefer the MoM method of a being able to immediately cast a counter spell that creates a "mana shield" pool that must be depleted by the opposing side before their non direct damage spells will hit. But the current method should work if balanced well, I wo
We need to get this thread stickied
That is one bad ass axe.
Voted Faction differentiation, but would have voted better city building. As I type this I see I'm in the majority so far.
It's working as expected for me in .86 I would be ok with it working as Xia recommends though.
I used to read a great blog by someone that worked in a mental ward, but have lost the address sadly. Insane world you work in, not something I could do.
I always hated it when I got Bahgtru as my first champion. Brax was better.
You have nothing to fear but the tool tip itself
is it repeatable?
While I love a great restaurant, with a solid menu, sometimes you just want a buffet. Please don't encourage them to take away our buffet.
I love finding ignys, one of the few easy to kill monsters that still gives good exp.
Yes, quite annoying, I'm dodging drakes like crazy trying to make it to the enemy cities, while they just waltz right past them with impunity.
