Anyone not get an email yet? It's going to take a few hours to process the whole queue. First placed, first filled.
Why oh why did I not bother to preorder until a few months ago? WHY??? [e digicons]XO[/e]
I was shocked to discover how short the thread title had become. Fixed now.
They are processing the orders at the moment. It's going to take a few hours, so it's pot luck when you get it.

from IRC: Beta is today "in theory" according to Yarlen
Oh why did this thread have to be brought back up??? GOO was simply Stardock's way of saying "We hate intrusive DRM, but if you insist on using something then how about our hassle free program", and it isn't on any of their own games. I hate to dismiss the RYG guys as idiots, but they are if they go on their crusades without looking at the facts. Please close this thread before we have another few pages of trolling, flaming
Wow, this early beta's going to be awful! Rubbish! Can't imagine what they're thinking letting people play it... [e digicons];)[/e]
Banned for being confusing Oops wrong thread [e digicons]:P[/e]
Wasn't there something like this in EU Rome?
A new update - Kyro has given us good news!
I assume it will be the same as for Entrenchment - pre-order = access to beta (provided you preorder before the beta is released)
Anyone noticed that the only sizeable country with no military (Costa Rica) recently came top of the Happy Planet scale?
I think some people are having problems with Stardock letting companies use their own DRM on Impulse. But think about these two options Stardock has. 1. SD refuses to let any company use anything more than Stardock's DRM (GOO) on Impulse. These companies don't like being forced to use some other DRM than theirs, so don't put their games on Impulse. Result: Impulse stays 'clean' of any nasty DRM but stays as a small distribution platform, an

BB is ill today so there may be a delay
I remember the case of a (I think it was a NYC) judge who tried to sue a dry cleaners for $500,000 because they ruined his favourite suit. These things can happen, and dry cleaning is not risk free. They had offered to buy him a replacement suit and possibly a bit of money for the hassle, but he thought he'd try his hand at making a small fortune from it. He lost his case and was the laughing stock of the judicial commnunity.
Get well soon! [e digicons]:)[/e] OR ELSE! [e digicons]}:)[/e] [e digicons]:-"[/e] [e digicons];)[/e]
There we go I've edited the title now we are unequivically into the following week
I still reckon they should stick a warning notice on Impulse before you download the first beta. It would save a lot of trolling

Some people seem to have this idea that the AI in any game should be utterly brilliant and be able to 'play like a human'. Yet these same people seem to complain that the AI is cheating when it wins.&nb

See, for instance, this post [Edit] And I should say that, from other posts by Frogboy, the intention is to have the story w/ random events and a map that is generated each play-through. I might be wrong on the last part, but since I haven't the opportunity to do the searching right now I'll just have to go with my memory
There is a campaign with a s
