Knowledge trade suddenly stopped giving any increase in knowledge. The trade works fine, but I'm not gaining anything in the tech tree. Edit: Title changed from [0.981] to [0.980]
Purest Warrior
Has anyone tried raising land into the sea to "find" new land to settle on? And has anyone had any success
I reported this simultaneously [e digicons]:)[/e]
Kraxis built an outpost on a quest hub (a humble inn). That's not supposed to happen, is it?
After having cast Freeze on a stack from the strategical map, my Bound Widows' web didn't work in tactical battle. There were rolls to resist and if failed the mob displayed as being webbed, but still moved (one tile, because they were frozen).
Burning wraith's Mantle of Fire doesn't show on the character sheet. It doesn't show anywhere, in fact, except in the combat log.
Deapic! But of those two: Epic, I believe.
I think betrayer is a great skill. I get twice the amount of champions in the initial grab phase and even after that I delve into enemy territory and pick up the champions they couldn't recruit. I can live with one or two of them having a skill I can't develop. Usually they all have some magic skill that I never develop, unless they're particularly suited to be mages.
It's intended. Champions of a Kingdom do not get to upgrade their death skills and vice versa. You won't ever get any death shards, either.
I must say, I can't see how it's a problem, either. It's just nice knowing where to build your cities, but with the whole city-placement eligibility being as obscure as it is, it's not like you can do a lot of planning, apart from just plodding down a settlement and seeing where the next one can be placed.
They still pay less movement on roads, presumably. and thus can move further using the roads.
I can only recommend checking the combat log after battle, if you remember it, and not just mindlessly click next, like me. But once in a while, I have a moment of clarity and check that log to see what actually happened.
Like any sound sovereign she rolls into a ball at the start of battle...
She is just activating her racial ability from Amarian blood. All Amarians do this at the beginning of battle. It's a good thing [e digicons]:)[/e]
No wonder my faction grows so slowly, when the teenage wraiths are kept from making out under the board walk.
Ok, thank you. It doesn't make a lot of sense, but as long as it's consistent, I suppose I can just build my cities a bit closer.
Do cities have to be founded directly adjacent to a river in order to be able to build these? I have tried a few times to snake my way to the river and still not be able to build the river improvements.
It works for everyone in he army, including the champion and other champions. This goes for both "general" and erm ... that other one. Edit: "Trainer"!
I don't have the game in front of me right now. Does the tool tip for Life magic state that? And conversely death?
No, it doesn't. Actually, it's kind of obscure.
Yes, it would [e digicons]:)[/e] ...or Alosius.
...which leads to: Why isn't there a "Token of the bear cub" in the game? I like Anna the wolf and Annie the dog, but what happened to Buddy the bear cub?
What can you say... Bear cubs rule!
It's like a zoo I went to, where they put the wolves with the bears. It didn't seem to bother either of them.
On the "Who are you?" screen, choose "create character". On the "Create Sovereign" screen, choose the faction you would like to play. The Kingdom races will allow you to cast life spells and the Empire factions will allow you to cast death spells. I'm guessing you wanted to know about the life/death thingy.
