True that. It would be nice if there were some more tactical maneuvers to make.
Sort of. There's a bonus to attacking a unit that is adjacent to other units of yours, but not for the direction your attack comes from. I believe it's something like +1 attack and +5 accuracy per friendly unit adjacent to the target unit.
...and it's called "swarm". Lupines and canines get this bonus doubled, as you can see in their skill window.
The army overview cracked me up completely. "Ok, let's see... To take on those bandits I have one spearman, one militia, and uhm... one box"
Very nice and to the point. Thank you. I have asked this before back when FE was the big thing, but I have since seen different contradictory post on the forums, so here goes: How are XP calculated in LH? Any formulas will be greatly appreciated. PW
Woohoo, that was a good laugh. Thanks , man.
I know that whoever starts a building first locks out the others, but this can't be happening when the AI tech is at a total of 12 when I complete the necessary research.
That the AI only has 12 tech points to trade doesn't necessarily mean they are behind you in tech. It merely means they only have 12 points (left) to trade.

Butchermen are not to be trifled with... Did you look at your accuracy compared to their dodge rating? Did you notice their attack rating also? Particularly in groups, ie. more than one, this can get quite high for a low-level unit.

Move your cursor and re-position it and it will show you being one move short. Measure twice and cut once, seems to be the answer here.

If they're the same, it means the building in question isn't changing that aspect.
I agree that this is a nice feature. Once you get used to it, you look for the green numbers... What I am missing, though, is knowing what that particular building is an upgrade from.
That spell exist in real life, too. It's called bribe.
I agree, but why build it at all with that option disabled? From what I remember, it doesn't grant any bonuses.
This happens to me every time I do that. Also outside my territory. It goes back to FE (for me).
I have posted about this as well. I think it has something to do with the quester's level (7 in this case) compared to the quest level. It would be nice to know how that works, if someone has an idea... Edit: It seems the level of the quester has nothing to do with it. Apparently some quests yield no XP and/or fame.
I reloaded and went back to do some of those quests with my sovereign and again I got neither XP or fame, so presumably there is some sort of scaling down of rewards compared to the champion's/sovereign's level. All the way to nothing.
I am not getting XP or fame for completing quests with champions other than my sovereign. Is this intended?
Ok. Thank you.
bows have armor piercing to begin with
Is this some hidden mechanic that goes for all bows, or are you speaking of a specific bow?
Does Shadow Strike work with ranged attack? And does Shadow Strike 1 stack with 2 and 3?
Banned for knowing he's got achy breaky brats.
If I have an enemy unit or stack targetted at the end of a turn, the game crashes. This is reproducable. I'm playing on a Win7 64-bit system. Edit: It's not 1.02, of course, as was kindly pointed out to me. *snaps* I'm back in your time again.
